Atleast Iwobi stars in one is the top leagues in Europe and an integral part of one of the most successful teams in African football. He has featured at the word cup and currently hv a medal in international football all thanks to 9ja.

Also among the top earners in African football currently grin

I don't see him stooping so low to play for otorospor and furkirispor at his peak lolz

Honestly, I am with you on Saka. The good thing is the NFF are already on his case and I hope we yield positive news in the end. The lad has all it takes to give everyone including Chukwueze a battle for our wing roles. He is fast, skillful, direct, left footed, sleek... I really like Saka and I do hope we bag him. He has made me forget a bit about Lookman sef. Lol...

And yeah Iwobi over Eze for me but I believe it won't be bad having Eze among the options we can call off the bench in the team. The lad was average today but he is really a fine talent.

Oil dey your head

Saka is a boy to watch out for, all the focus should not be on eze, to get game time in arsenal is not that easy self

Iwobi is miles ahead of eze anyday anytime

He does his job as a 10 well, which is to create chances and carry the ball to your forward players as quick as possible. He might not be a fancy ball hugging kind of player but he's very efficient. Modric that is a balloon d'Or winner, how many assists does he have ? But modric is rated because he does the simple things efficiently and transition the attacks very well

God bless you

That season modric won balon d or, he didnt even have up to 8 assists in total, his goals was not more than 4 or so

Who scored the important goal that qualified 9ja to the 2018 world cup against Zambia? grin

Who scored the beautiful goal that displaced Cameroon and made us qualify for the quarter finals of the last afcon?

Who made mince meat of of the argentine defence and scored twice in the friendly prior to the world cup?

Who scored against almighty 3 lions at wembly?

Which attack? The one Kalu created with a moment of brilliance? Iwobi destroyed more than he created EOD

Lol... That's a maybe. Also, Tomori said we never approached him when in fact we did.

Truth is throughout today, Dutch Twitter space have been livid over losing out on Dest. Several wish him an "L" with USA. I think Holland were so confident he would feature for them and were taking their time until he debuted in the UCL and had a super game. Holland is not happy to lose out on their nation's number 1 Club team's Top RB option.

Omo e really pain holland be that o

I don't need him to score goals. At least an assist every two matches isn't a bad idea. Iwobi is inconsistent and unreliable. The reason I am hammering on this is because he seems to be our only AM at the moment and thus when he has his bad days, it affects the whole team. This isn't good for the Super Eagles.
WHAT is iwobis goal return for Nigeria since you care about his role as an AM for us ?

Lol @the bolded. Nwakali the lubricant. Oke aha na egbu nwa nkita

Overseas –based professional players, Tom Dele-Bashiru and Orji Okonkwo have joined the camp of the Nigeria U23 team, Olympic Eagles preparing for next month's U23 Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Egypt.

Earlier, midfield lubricator Kelechi Nwakali, who captained the U17 National Team to World Cup glory in Chile four years ago, had rejoined the squad that he helped secure victories over Libya and Sudan in the qualifiers to earn Nigeria a berth at the finals in Egypt.

Bologna winger Orji Okonkwo joined the rest of the team on Monday as the overseas –based professionals continued to stream into camp ahead of this week's departure to Egypt.

His arrival has given Head Coach lmama Amapakabo and his assistants more attacking options ahead of the tournament.

The Olympic Eagles are expected to the leave shores of the country on Thursday for the tournament which holds 8th – 22nd November in Cairo, with Nigeria playing in Group B which also has Cote d'Ivoire, Zambia and South Africa.

Another overseas –based professional in camp is Tom Dele-Bashiru, who featured for the U20 National Team, Flying Eagles, at the FIFA U20 World Cup finals in Poland in the summer.

The 20 -year old midfielder plies his trade with English Premier League side Watford FC, and was born in the city of Manchester, England to Nigerian parents.

He scored Nigeria's third goal as the Flying Eagles obliterated Qatar 4-0 in their opening game of the FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland

Lol who give nwakali midfield lubricator

Only the Aribo pass is relevant to the conversation. Now mention another thing he did for someone to say he was the best player on the pitch? Anybody who says that goal wasn't all about Samuel Kalu is running off of sentimental diesel grin

This is a big relief. We can't put our hope on an inconsistent player. Soon some players will come to matches with mattress and blankets. I no get time for immature back and forth.

Iwobi really is not an attacking midfielder just a pretender who want to wear that number 10 by all means...lol. We need a solid Naija bred attacking midfielder with fighting spirit...Aribo got mad confidence but I dont consider him a proper 10.
