I exited Diamond bank my only share at 3.30; what's your definition of peak? That's not even important, as long as I make good profit
Check history again, we have recorded 2 years straight bear; why should this be different? Again if you we have had two years straight bear, expect 6 months of ASI sitting at or near the bottom, at best double bottom. That has been my argument

so probability is no longer 1?

even the most seasoned analysts in saner climes never analyse/ predict the market with any certainty. Never mind the wuru-wuru wey de happen for our dearly beloved NSE.
The people that move the market did predict a very harsh ride (if bubu emabarked on a 2nd missionary journey)

make we adopt brace position jare

https://investorsking.com/election-2019-nigerias-stock-market-may-rally-if-president-buhari-loses-analysts/

The signs for a bullish ride is firmly there. Hence my call.

So since Bubu is there for 4 years, we will have 4 years of bear? grin grin

What happened in 2017 - 2018when Bubu was still at the helms? grin

The analyst view isn't logical anyway.

Once there is bull, hope the market will still remember that Bubu is still the president? grin

We're observing.

In my opinion the prevailing climate will be predominantly bearish.

The Nigerian Economy is dislocated o.

In 2016, we entered into recession. In 2017, I think we were just coming out of recession or so.

What was in the economy then that isn't there now? grin

Same president, similar policies.

Head or tail, we dey the game. Keep chopping the Dividends (same or higher yields to Tbills) till we hand our kaya to the FPIs grin

My advice is for people to stay on strong dividend paying stocks. Banks will keep making money irrespective of the health of the economy. Stick with the banks. Better ones o... Not dead ones.

The Coke bottle I planted is growing! grin

Sometimes we forget what we always quote about the market having a mind of its own.
From the dark days of Abacha to the sluggish reign of Buhari, the market has not, and will not loose its mind.
When it decides to fly it will, when it decides to nose-dive, it will.
Be it in the most advanced economies of the world, this stock market thing remains the proverbial leopard that never changes its skin.
I laugh when investors abandon the market because of a ruler.
Like the wizard of Omaha Warren Buffet, I just sit and watch like a bart (in Fayose's voice) to pounce on the lowest low dividend paying stocks.
No matter who is President, March and September must surely keep coming every year for me to keep harvesting my interim & final dividends.
{THE END} grin grin grin
