By the way, I would reallly love to know what part of the average Naija man's brain processes that word- PROSTITUTE. It is usually one of the first resort when they wanna insult a lady. I find it very crass, ghettoish and downright low. Something you should only get from people straight outta the slum. Once someone says that, I strike the person off- not like it matters anyway. Who am I? The opposite of a taxi driver should actually be a rider/passenger. Someone skips all that and goes straight to PROSTITUTE. Tells more about the person than the passenger. Tbh When putting people in place, if at all you are very sure they were being CONDESCENDING- there is how it is done with class and tact. One needs to learn this skill, so you don't go exchanging words with every irate customer like an agbero, thus reinforcing the stereotype about drivers. 3 Likes |

izzou:I'm a very reasonable individual, I was online past 12am to work. This is business to me, so profitability is prioritized. The moment her request came in, I called and used ma all through my conversation even till the point I discovered the trip isn't gonna be profitable to me. I noticed the rudeness in conversation but decided to suck it up, Las Las na my money I go collect. The moment I told her the reason why I couldn't make the trip, She got even more aggravated and ended the call with a hiss. So, if I reply in same manner she did, I perfectly understand the context of her words. 17 Likes 1 Share |

emmancecute: I totally understand. I was just concluding from what you typed earlier. But how the conversation played out matters too But then, you shouldn't have still called her a PROSTITUTE(my opinion). You had already declined the trip. No need for that insult 2 Likes |

pocohantas:Of course u will always find another perspective because the rider is a woman? @bold because someone is an engineer, he has no right to choose location for construction, even if it is sambisa forest? To many of u a taxi driver is a slave and must accept every nonsense thrown at him? Because someone is an uber driver doesn't mean he has lost the right to decline unfavourable and threatening trips. If his vehicle get damaged in the process of trying to be a yes man, will the rider or uber fix the car for him? When some people talk i just know they haven't own a tyre in their entire life, because if u have used a car and know how frustrating it is to keep repairing samething in a vehicle, u won't invite uber driver to certain location as a rider. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Rubbiish: What rubbish is this one talking about. Living up to your username or what? Did I at any point say a driver shouldn't choose destination? What is my business if you people choose destinations? It is your right. If there is anything I have ever said as regards drivers and riders altercations- it is, be civil and professional about it. Enough of this you people have never owned a car. I drive a 2015 SUV, been driving it since 2017. I know what it takes to fix a car! So, you all should please learn to keep your emotions in check. The world isn't out to get drivers okay? 4 Likes |

Rubbiish: Too much sense here. Gazzuzz don't accept any vehicle below 2000 at his workshop. He don't even accept Honda Civic and some other specs but HE'S A MECHANIC and signed up and advertised as one. Radautoparts had to turn down some certain repair job brought to her because she can't meet up.... BUT SHE'S A MECHANIC and signed up and advertised as one. No time were they dragged that... That was what they signed up for... As a MECHANIC your duty is to repair cars. When you start selecting cars and turning others down because it didn't favour you for reason best known to you, then the UBER Driver has his own right to turn down trips that didn't favour him. izzou: No, I am pissed o. I don't know the correlation between my post and his. I have condenmed rude and unsympathetic FEMALE riders in the past. Even my first post to someone here I did agree riders are a handul and look down on drivers. So, at what point did people like me think drivers have no choice? I work in a service oriented industry too. So, I will be the very last person to look down on drivers or anyone doing a legitimate hustle. I might make some posts to troll, but aside that- I respect people's hustle. No one should give me a bad name biko. 3 Likes |
