Niherian pidgin English dates back to 1800s when Portuguese first came to Nigeria, they met the people of Niger Delta....southern part of Nigeria, with time pidgin( formed from many languags) became the language of communication amongs the traders. Till date no region in Nigeria speaks pidgin like the Deltans and EDOS.
Btw... theirs also a pidgin bible(written in pidgin). Pidgin is the language that every Nigerian, Rich or poor, home and abroad, educated or not, speaks.
