WARTHUNDER:

I have agreed boss, I said give NA the NAFs 6 new armed Agusta to see practical. I dont underestimate air power, I lecture its strategic benefit in school, just saying if 100 cannot win for 10 years 115 birds cannot win. ISIS was defeated by land forces not army aviation, thats another practical lesson my bruz.

When the Russians decided to help the Syrian military during the Syrian civil war, one of the things the Russians did was to send 15-20 special forces personnel into every Syrian Army battalion. During any battle between ISIS and the Syrian army, the Russian special forces personnel in those battalions do give coordinates to Russian Air force for them to bomb the hell out of those ISIS position. Helicopters, bombers, rocket artilleries and artilleries are needed in this fight against boko haram and ISWAP.

It will happen someday. They must get sense by force.

Imagine putting all those deadly weapons within the reach of those deadly criminals, such a very stupid thing to do.

You do know that the magazines are detached from the rifles and are emptied before being put on display? Only loose rounds are on display.

There are also armed officers in the background.

can you explain things from historical context then?

Everything must be distributed between North and south equally.

With due respect sir that doesn't even make sense.. e.g saying why naval bases are are not equally distributed... It environment that determines basically where military outfit are located..it will be irrational and very stupid for DHQ to shift naval bases to North while living the west centre and east with land army which they do not need as urgent on times of war.
https://nigerianinfopedia.com.ng/nigerian-navy-command-list-of-naval-commands-in-nigeria/
And when it comes to widespread distribution in Nigeria the army takes the lead it has bases around the country. East west south north..e.g 82nd division Enugu...
Besides the lack of army presence in other part of Nigeria has either been compensated by the naval or air presence
E.g the south and west are basically occupied by the navy in place of air force. It will be irrational to have in every state an Army HQ
Then
On the basis of equality, it has long been established that the Northern region is larger in landmass than both the west and south, so how do u expect that there will be equal number of HQ in each region...

Modest dream. I've always felt Nigeria plumbed for JF-17, having at some point decided that we as Nigerians are altogether too ambitious and that perhaps we ought to tailor our clothes according to size.

I actually think that the reason no JF 17 has landed is because of delays caused by Nigeria revising upward her requirements for this plane and only Block 3 meets those requirements.

I think we are getting AESA radar planes. If the radar fits in a version of Block 2 (with implications for cooling) or we get Block 3

Nigeria is NOT going to buy SU 57. What are security planners are aiming for is American F16s. They will make a play for Russian jets and wait. They know there is an amateurish transactional guy in the White House who thinks himself 'smart'. He will hear at some briefing that Russians are selling SU 57 to Nigeria and will just blurt out against all complicated strategic considerations why the US are not competing and pow F16Vs are coming Naijas way

Would've believed your joke if I was 16, there is a limit to Russian arms you touch before the CAATSA hammer falls on you, US will wait for you to cross that line then boom!! Nigeria stops selling oil, then Boom!! Nigerian economy disappears, if in doubt, ask NK, Iran & Turkey recently.

I'm sorry to say this, but your explanation holds no water. Almost all the important military institutions are located in Kaduna(north). If not that the Southern and Northern part of Nigeria was merge in 1914, you northerners won't have any navy at all cause you guys are landlocked. Lagos state is the smallest state in Nigeria, there is no military base in Nigeria that is up to 20% of Lagos landmass. So a small state like abia or ekiti or akwa ibom also have the land mass to accommodate all the major military institutions in Kaduna.
But I still believe all this things should be shared equally. Northern states like kano, Katstina, Kaduna etc can't be enjoying oil money from the Niger Delta all in the name of one Nigeria and you will start giving useless excuse of why military institutions can't be shared equally.
Saying there are more military institutions in the north cause of is land mass holds no water at all.
There are countries that are not as big as southern Nigeria, yet they have military institutions and bases.

Why was the National war college moved from Lagos to abuja?

Right in Buratai's home town Biu. Although the Southern Borno has been quite peaceful than the Northern Borno.

If it was here in Northern Borno by now ISWAP would have been chilling there cool

well there doesnt look to be anything special here tbh. It looks like basic AKMS or type 56 with a forward mounted Kobra or reflex site. The only thing that's special are the NVGs but those are probably given out on a case by case basis in the real world. Maybe something special in there.

No it didn't. AMRAAM can only be fired by F-16. You have to integrate softwares & codes before integrating missile systems. Only idiots without an iota of military knowledge will believe that Pakistan used JF-17. F-16 were just not allowed to be used in a war, that's why their official quote included JF-17.
And not two planes, only one MiG-21 was lost. Rest was all internet buzz spread by internet terrorists to save their faces.
