that was how a thief was caught in oyo 3 days ago ppl wanted to burn him but police officers saved him but he received the beating of his life.i pitied him at first but later on he started attacking people who wanted to push him into the police van and at that moment I rushed him with slap and blow

This is wrong....the mob are the judge jury and executioner in this case.

The police should please do the needful find the ringleaders and random spectators in the mob and try them properly with a fine and sentence as a deterent to others in future.

Many innocents have been misjudged in such mob actions and treated cruelly they could be someone close to you .They are someones children.This must stop,even if they are guilty

Honestly, this is waste of time?

Why not kill him at once.... So we know, is minus one,if this guy is armed tomorrow, I pity all of beating him, he will come back more vicious,deadly and unforgiving.

December is coming, soon car batteries, brain boxes, side mirror, and the likes will start missing from people's cars .

Most of us suffered growing up because crime was NEVER an option, and will NEVER be.

You don't just live in a civilized society... You live in a society where the law actually works, where crime fighting is taken serious... Where the cops actually respond in minutes when called in... Where courts actually dish out justice... Hard and speedy justice.

If those things were not in place, jungle justice would reign supreme... That is why this is called a zoo.

So, don't be too quick to judge Nigerians... We live next door to hell.

Nigerians are heartless beings.
Things to be considered:
These guyz only stole! They didn't rob at gun point.
Jungle justice can be justified for people who rob at gunpoint or kidnap but for the ones who steal, its uncalled for as they didn't endanger the life of anyone.

Las las its better to just bundle them and hand them over to the police for prosecution. I don't understand how inflicting pain on a living animal tlkless of a human being can bring satisfaction to some people. What kind of demons are we?? People make mistakes.... it doesn't mean they warrant death. If they didn't take a life why take theirs?? We undervalue life in Nigeria. We deserve what we get from our leaders.... leave God out of it. We can't ask for mercy while we don't show mercy to others. How unfortunate! undecided

A guy who was our former neighbor went to rob yesterday night, police caught them then...he denied it and even said that he slept in our hostel yesternight ....then police asked him to describe the place he slept and he described our hostel in oto awori
This morning around 11 am police came to our hostel and they arrested my roommate who is the only one around...he told them that those thiefs did not sleep over in our hostel that it was all lies but they arrested him and locked him up since morning...we also went to school to mobilise student Union leaders who went to the police station to protest but they chased everyone out
Now they said he is a partner in crime and that he will be charged to court on criminal case... please any good Samaritan to come to our help coz I don't know what to do again .....right now I can't go to hostel for fear of being arrested too and tagged a criminal
Please any body who can help us should call me on 08122934592 we are innocent students


Leave and go home there is no justice in that country come back later when the case has died down and get a new place to stay

His aunty went there today and they told her the thiefs have confessed that they didn't sleep over in our hostel ...so I believe he will be released tomorrow but if they did not release him by tomorrow I will call on Segalink for help
