I think porating the amount is not a bad idea though than returning the entire amount completely. Atleast some profit has been locked down while using the remaining funds to chase other assets. Rates are expected to keep going lower considering this CBN OMO actions. From Oct 2019-Feb 2020 (4 months duration), 7-8 trillion naira are expected to mature from OMO bills. Most of this money will have to be chasing other assets class, which means demand will be more than supply and therefore rates will keep going lower in the money market.

Cos I don't understand what is happening with this NTB .

I applied on Monday for wednesdays auctions(primary market) , face value 10m...

Just now,i got debited 3.6m(instead of 8.8m). I immediattely called my account officer and she said the primary market kiini was PRORATED. Less than 50% was taken from every investor..

I have never experienced a thing like this before.

Any ideas.

You’re not alone, I noticed same thing on my account. (I wonder if yours is Stanbic as well..)

As I always tell people, do you want to be rich someday? If your answer is yes, then why hate rich people if you're going to be one some day?

Info is not complete to calculate what you ask, from the formula, S.I = PRT, make rate, R the subject, R=S.I/PT
S.I is the interest you are paid, T is tenor divided by 365 and P is your capital. as for the reinvesting, fbn is renown for that. i have a running case with them. i have written twice but they still reinvest. i have given up. for this case,
R=11%=0.11, P=1.7k (whatever it means) and S.I. is 188.162N (whatever it means).
You didn't give us T=time(days divided by 365)

divide the interest by the tenor and multiply by number of days you held, that will be your interest but you have bank charges to sort, some banks have penalty so u might loose your capital if not careful, aqpproach you bank and make them calculate for you

So does it mean investors are completely at the mercy of CBN? This porating subscribtions is not nice. They should either say the maximum amount one can invest or return complete money if it’s not successful. In fact CBN should just suspend tbills till they are ready for business again!

That is my point. Permit me to mention figure, I already calculated 12% of 30m which will be around 3.6m to offset my Bills abroad. U can imagine one yeye bank abi cbn deducting only 10m, the interest will be useless to me. So is better they return the money so I will explore other avenues or options. Am not just in support of that prorating.

A federal grand jury returned a 10-count superseding indictment Wednesday afternoon charging eight individuals in connection with a fraud scheme primarily targeting widowed women over 65 years old.

The indictment alleges that over approximately two years, the defendants defrauded dozens of victims out of more than $6 million, which they laundered through accounts they controlled.

According to the indictment, the defendants and unnamed co-conspirators used social media and social gaming applications to target widows. .

Charged in the indictment are Jeffersonking Anyanwu, age 25, Daniel Negedu, age 21, Onoriode Kenneth Adigbolo, age 31, Chukwudi Kingsley Kalu, age 28, and Godsent Nwanganga, age 24, all Nigerians living in Orem.

David Maduagu, age 27, a Nigerian living in Taylorsville; and Richard Ukorebi, age 38, and Adrianna Sotelo, age 20, both of West Valley City. Ukorebi is also Nigerian.

All defendants are charged with one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud, three counts of mail fraud, and one count of money laundering conspiracy. Anyanwu, Negedu, Adigbolo, Kalu, Ukorebi, Nwanganga and Sotello are also each charged with one count of money laundering.

The maximum potential penalty for each of the first four counts in the indictment is 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000 (or double the stolen amount).

The penalty for each money laundering and money laundering conspiracy count is 10 years in federal prison and $250,000 (or double the laundered amount).

Anyanwu, Negedu, and Adigbolo were initially charged in an indictment returned by a federal grand jury in late May. They were arraigned on the charges and entered pleas of not guilty. .

Ukorebi, Maduagu, and Sotelo were previously charged by criminal complaint and arrested. Ukorebi and Maduagu were ordered detained pending trial. Sotelo is released on supervision pending trial. Nwanganga is incarcerated on unrelated charges. Kalu remains at

Bros are you still on the hushpuppi matter? I thought we had closed that case. Why are you so pained at another man's wealth? You have no prove how he got his wealth, whether illegitimate or otherwise. Have you thought about it for a second that maybe the reason he is keeping the source of his wealth a secret is so that more people can keep wondering, thereby driving more social media attention to him as we live in a digital age where social media popularity is gold? My advice to you is to get rid of this your poverty driven mentality of the poor hating the rich, so that you can make your own millions and choose to display it or not on Instagram.

You don't know who you are talking to.

You can support all thieves if that is your destiny, no problem. But if you think you can come here and be insulting others cos they don't agree with your criminality, you are very wrong. The fact that that guy won't insult you doesn't mean I would hold back.

This is investments section, not crime section. You can go to the crime section if you need news of thieves to support.
