False redmi 8 is better. 5000mah,type c port, Better Camera sensor and 18 watt fast charging coupled with better design. The Snapdragon 632 isn't much better than the 439 as people think.
nobody says its a bad device compared to redmi 7,but isnt an upgrade for someone using redmi 7

Guy, how did you miss that point that performance is the onus here?

Plus you still prove my point that Redmi 7 performs better than Redmi 8 which is the point and the onus of this discussion since morning.

Did you bother to read how the discussion started since morning or you just want to argue for argument sake?

Everything you typed up there still points to one thing.

Redmi 7 performs better than Redmi 8.

Go back to how the discussion started and adjust your position please.

The guy in question is using a Redmi 7 and he wants to get a Redmi 8. Then he stated that, he wants performance at a cheap. Hence, my opinion.

If you still can't get the fact that my comparison is based on performance, then I can't help you and this matter die now.
Calm down oh.... I just thought I was having a harmless conversation with a member here

The thing is I believe it can be an upgrade for someone using the redmi 7. Only the processor I believe falls short, think about it bro the upgrades are plenty and make up for the processor loss ..... But in the end every mallam to his kettle.....Im Out For now

Lies..

My redmi note 5 AI fell into water and I didn't use it for some days because it didn't turn on.

I went to one of these roadside technicians and he cleaned it thoroughly with dryer and fuel. The phone is currently working smoothly without issues..

I'm even tired of the phone because it has refused to spoil so I can buy another one. The screen has cracked massively for almost a year now and I've never had difficulty operating it. The phone is rugged and durable.

Please Xiaomi is strong (at least from my own experience).

I was speaking based on my own experience, i lost my note 4 and went on to purchase a Note 5...

What intensive stuffs please? Also you know that the antutu score of the 439 is 80,000 Right? Vs 100k on the 632. That's like a 730 Vs Kirin 810. The 439 and 632 were released at the same time by Qualcomm so it might have had something to do with xiaomi throwing it's weight with the 439. The 810 is better yes, but you can still use the 730 good. Same goes for the 632 and 439. Apart from the processor In what other way is the redmi 7 better?
Bros pls the simple question is will you upgrade from redmi 7 to redmi 8 if you are presented with the scenario?

Redmi 7 users please don't dissipate your energies just yet, because from 04 November the real debate starts.

Personally I'll say it's preemptive to be arguing against a device that's had its only usage on YouTube videos.

grin No But........... I humbly acknowledge that the redmi 8 is a full upgrade from the redmi 7 cheesy I'm getting a MI 9t next week but if xiaomi releases MI 10t I might not upgrade even with all the features thereof. But if someone wants to upgrade then it's totally fine. In my opinion the processor is the only downside here bro. If we notice, xiaomi tends to draw one thing back always in this successive products and it shows. Remember the Mi a2/mi a3 (720p display), mi 9/ Mi 8(ois) etc We definitely can't have it all.....
