contumely2:I really don't know about bunkering ,I avoid buying product from South South, over 500 truck in warri military based arrested for bunkering ,metering tempering is done by manager/pump attendants....if a station sells 5000 litres daily that 150,000 litres per month it will earn around 3m net monthly 2 Likes 1 Share |

ahiboilandgas: How do you cope with the stress of doing biz in the oil industry, the cabal, the rivals, the uneccesary eyes of everyone on industry personnel especially by security forces and all the whole drama? |

ahiboilandgas: I think metre tampering is done by managers in connivance with the owners. You personally may not do it. But why is it that 20 litres of fuel doesn't fill 20 gallon? Even when you buy from NNPC mega stations? |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by healthserve(m): 7:39am On Nov 02, 2019 |
ahiboilandgas: Okay. I was managing mutual funds some years back with ( 50 - 100m group funding ). We were looking for entry into the oil industry but the first few persons I spoke with discouraged me stating it was a biz for unclean individuals down with charms, guns and worth nots. I withdrew my participation in the team following these comments. How true is this view? Rest assured, I'm privileged to see the oil industry as a tough one with plenty stress. Can you change my view for the future. One thing you said caught my attention once the security forces sees you as a male in the South South, you're almost apprehended with criminal-handling force, it irks me I'm looking into wholesale gas station terminals and retail gas stations for the nearest future though. I learnt there's massive opportunity in wholesale gas station terminal service industry |

Gun hmm I never seen any gun around loading depot or filling station except na police...get ur location like asaba ,study the frequency of car traffic ,get your land ,get your dpr approvals, build your station ,lease it out to total or MRS for 10m annually ,collect 5 years lease 50m ,get appointed as the dealer for the same station and chop 5 naira margin and use truck to generate way bill......where the charms and gun dey for this process...u want use charm for white man for total or gun for dpr 12 Likes 3 Shares |

ahiboilandgas: So what does it really entail to build one?? Like roughly, how much does it take to build a standard station with 3 - 4 pumps?? 4 Likes |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by healthserve(m): 8:47am On Nov 02, 2019 |
ahiboilandgas: I meant associated risks @ guns and charms. I.e business associates. Also, not the storage point facility but the purchase and loading sectors Sir 10m annually that's low compared with volumetric analysis of what it entails and the invested amount. Considering the setting up involves high amount. If I invest the same amount let's say 100 - 200m into other industries I'll cash out more than 50% annually. 10m per month on an invested setup cost of let's say 200m isn't good returns on risk/cash investment As a business man, this doesn't make sense. A gas station with less than this amount gives up to 400% returns. Why then build and transfer ownership for 5% annual returns. Not cool Sir 100 - 200m to setup supermarkets, logistics fleet or even agriculture affords higher profit returns with low risks self. Cc FarahAideed SarkinYarki Racoon 2 Likes 1 Share |

ahiboilandgas: Lol. I'm a business god amongst men myself Sir Staking 100m to get even 15m annually is bad business for me. I'll never do such in my life. I have over fifty comprehensive manufacturing industries blueprint for the future. I'm just engaging in a discussion and considering the attraction ive always avoided and have remained skeptical about the oil sector. Gas I'm cool with. Gas is the future Besides the setup of the infrastructure to licensing of a four pump station would hit 120-150m. From land purchase to underground tanks, to pumps jeez. 100m won't sufficiently accommodate a four pump station Sir without sweat and serious money management 1 Like |
Re: Treasury Bills In Nigeria by ahiboilandgas: 9:06am On Nov 02, 2019 |
Adiwana:depend on location...cost of land constitutes about 50 percent of main cost ...the pumps are 750 k each ,canopy 4 leg like 2m underground tank 4 m each ( pms ) ago then office 5m then floor 2m with 30m outside Lagos and abuja u can build one 2 Likes 1 Share |

healthserve: Can you give examples of businesses that give annual net profit of 50% on the invested capital It is very possible and also make more than that with micro and small businesses that are labour intensive. The N50 million is for the lease on the property, which a smart person would have reinvested before the lease expires in 5 years time 4 Likes |

emmanuelewumi: There are lots of businesses Sir 1. Food processing industry be it sea food, poultry crop. Just processing oh not even the food production aspect 2. Marketing - Bulk wholesale supplies of commodtieis like carbonated drinks etc 3. Retail Gas supply 4. Logistics chain for goods delivery 5. Nylon production 6. Nylon Marketing 7. Plastics Recycling 8. Supermarket. 9. Forex There's a lot. If we're open to critical review of business blueprints first before going ahead to forge them on ground, you'll realise many businesses gives 50% and more annually Sir. Ive managed businesses across diverse fields for people so I know Disclaimer. I don't do businesses with people online. We're just engaging in a conversation. IamR: To do any business these days is simple Sir though people think it requires huge money. Get a consultant like ahiboilandgas here, our own brother. Get comprehensive business report which they will charge a small sum, from there you can either scale down or build up Sir For Gas you'll need like 2-3 plots of land to do a good work. I recommend 30-40million for Gas Sir For wholesale carbonated drinks from truck for local area supply to shop rent to installations 15-18m is more than good for such a project Sir Disclaimer : I'm not soliciting for patronage nor money. I'm just engaging in a business discussion. 1 Like |

emmanuelewumi:sir because of u I will explain futher, the 50 m lease will be used to supply product at 133.to the station ,The futher my truck will convey to my lease station at 120,000k per trip if I sell 10 trucks monthly will have made 1m from halauge ,4 m from retail of pms then 850k from lease that months ,ago sale and engine oil will absorb the over head ...i can also buy product in bulk from total and retail on the truck without discharging ....i can buy 1m litres at 133m from total as a dealer and sell at 138 to other dealer unregistered making 5m without loading the product...if scarcity show with 2 months u don make the entire investment......remember the station is a going concern and it appreciating....if am exiting I will sell at premium 1 Like 1 Share |

emmanuelewumi: Is this a business feedback or inherent fear. Have you seen a comprehensive analysis on any of these businesses or engaged in them personally? I've done plastics recycling personally I've done nylon marketing personally I've managed a supermarket personally I've done wholesale supply personally I've been involved with food supplies to a food franchise in Lekki Gbagada for more than five years personally. See any business that can't make 50% minimum annually isnt looking into its business aanalysics and operational indices to ascertain why its doing right or wrong and how to improve its productivity to make maximum impact Sir Disclaimer: I'm not soliciting for private business discussions, investments or money in anyway.
