PAMM sounds like getting a team etc.

Do such people exist here?

Are there ways I can trade myself and make reasonable profit no matter how little?

Can you do me a favor?

There is more to this than meets the eye. Seems what you are stating are for public consumption. It's understandable. PETROL STATIONS DON'T RELY ON 10 PER LITRE ISH.

Petrol stations buy from "bunkery" at a very cheap rate. They go there at times armed. I know a petrol station in Onitsha that is into it full time. (I know you must know about it.)

They also tamper with metres. If you take a 20 litre gallon to any station, at least 25 litres will be needed to fill it. Some stations have been sanctioned for this and I am sure those are the ones that didn't settle the inspectors ---- I think they are from DPR.

All these are first hand experiences.

If petrol stations sell or rely by the margins you are quoting, then 90% of stations would have closed. There are many stations here that can't sell upto 5,000 litres daily.

It's just like a governor contesting just because of salaries he will be paid --- not upto 1m sef.

But he will embezzle billions through contract inflation etc.

Almost all big money in Nigeria are from illegalities and standard breaches.

I really don't know about bunkering ,I avoid buying product from South South, over 500 truck in warri military based arrested for bunkering ,metering tempering is done by manager/pump attendants....if a station sells 5000 litres daily that 150,000 litres per month it will earn around 3m net monthly

How do you cope with the stress of doing biz in the oil industry, the cabal, the rivals, the uneccesary eyes of everyone on industry personnel especially by security forces and all the whole drama?

I think metre tampering is done by managers in connivance with the owners. You personally may not do it.

But why is it that 20 litres of fuel doesn't fill 20 gallon?
Even when you buy from NNPC mega stations?

Okay. I was managing mutual funds some years back with ( 50 - 100m group funding ). We were looking for entry into the oil industry but the first few persons I spoke with discouraged me stating it was a biz for unclean individuals down with charms, guns and worth nots. I withdrew my participation in the team following these comments. How true is this view? Rest assured, I'm privileged to see the oil industry as a tough one with plenty stress. Can you change my view for the future. One thing you said caught my attention once the security forces sees you as a male in the South South, you're almost apprehended with criminal-handling force, it irks me

I'm looking into wholesale gas station terminals and retail gas stations for the nearest future though. I learnt there's massive opportunity in wholesale gas station terminal service industry

So what does it really entail to build one?? Like roughly, how much does it take to build a standard station with 3 - 4 pumps??

I meant associated risks @ guns and charms. I.e business associates. Also, not the storage point facility but the purchase and loading sectors Sir

10m annually that's low compared with volumetric analysis of what it entails and the invested amount. Considering the setting up involves high amount. If I invest the same amount let's say 100 - 200m into other industries I'll cash out more than 50% annually. 10m per month on an invested setup cost of let's say 200m isn't good returns on risk/cash investment

As a business man, this doesn't make sense. A gas station with less than this amount gives up to 400% returns. Why then build and transfer ownership for 5% annual returns. Not cool Sir

100 - 200m to setup supermarkets, logistics fleet or even agriculture affords higher profit returns with low risks self.

FG bonds is not cool with me because of the break down of coupons, i do invest 50% of my yearly profits in tbs in another bizz, hence keeping all funds with the FG is not suitable for me.
Contact FBNQUEST for the application form. The requirements are the normal account opening supporting documents. The minimum you can invest is 2,500$. See the enclosed factsheet for details as at October.

Why not try dollar investments with stanbic. Their dollar fund is cool. I’ll soon be moving all my dollar to that.
I think Buhari is the one holding dollar rate as it is because all these cbn policies should be telling on the dollar but yet dollar has been stable. Remember Buhari promised to make dollar = naira so I think he’s the kind of person that will do anything to wage dollar rate.
I got this from Stanbic dollar fund. It is under consideration.

Lol. I'm a business god amongst men myself Sir

Staking 100m to get even 15m annually is bad business for me. I'll never do such in my life. I have over fifty comprehensive manufacturing industries blueprint for the future. I'm just engaging in a discussion and considering the attraction ive always avoided and have remained skeptical about the oil sector. Gas I'm cool with. Gas is the future

Besides the setup of the infrastructure to licensing of a four pump station would hit 120-150m. From land purchase to underground tanks, to pumps jeez. 100m won't sufficiently accommodate a four pump station Sir without sweat and serious money management

Can you give examples of businesses that give annual net profit of 50% on the invested capital

It is very possible and also make more than that with micro and small businesses that are labour intensive.

The N50 million is for the lease on the property, which a smart person would have reinvested before the lease expires in 5 years time

To do any business these days is simple Sir though people think it requires huge money. Get a consultant like ahiboilandgas here, our own brother. Get comprehensive business report which they will charge a small sum, from there you can either scale down or build up Sir

For Gas you'll need like 2-3 plots of land to do a good work. I recommend 30-40million for Gas Sir

For wholesale carbonated drinks from truck for local area supply to shop rent to installations 15-18m is more than good for such a project Sir
