The problem is Nigerians themselves. Nigeria is not a merit based economy. It is based on Tribe especially among the Yoruba and the Hausa. So in Nigeria, all crimes are forgiven as far as the person is your tribe which is why the average Fulani man still thinks Abacha was the best president to rule Nigeria. When you have an Abacha, you will always have Chagourrys and Guptas. 1 Like |

JonDon12: The fact that you condone corruption, looting and stealing in your villages and won't demand accountability from your own village governors and leaders while you obsessed over other tribes doesn't mean you don't have the same kind of people right there under your nose? Hypocrisy, contradictions, tribalism, hatred, bitterness and bigotry are you people's number ONE problem. 1 Like |

BeautifulMind2: While your kind sit on NL and obsessed over tribes, Lagos state government and many other governments in Nigeria and all over the world stage investment and economic summits to attract jobs and investments and they care less if the investors are Americans, Yoruba, Indians, Lebanese, Hausa, Norwegian or Ibo, it's all about investments, jobs, progress and development. The owners of the buildings like many others in Lagos state and the SW are investors in Lagos state and the SW, not investors in your village, they create jobs in Lagos state and the SW, not in your village and they pay taxes in Lagos state and the SW. The people in Ondo, Osun, Ekiti, Oyo and Ogun state benefit more from the so-called ibo businesses in Lagos state and the SW than the people in Abia and the rest of the SE. To the people of Lagos state and the SW, they are nothing but investors like many others in Lagos state and the SW, but of course, you are free to keep obsessing over tribes when in fact, it makes zero difference and contributes nothing to any ibo state or the SE in general. Bottom line, if you really want to get tribal, first ask yourself what your tribe is benefiting from what you are beating chest with and why Osun state and the SW, in general, are benefiting from the taxes paid by these companies and not a single ibo state. It's ok to get tribal, but of what sense and relevance if at the end of the day, the people you are denigrating are benefiting from these investments, but you are not. The question you should be asking yourself is why they are in Lagos state and the SW, but never in any ibo state or the SE? This should be your main concern if you really want to beat chest and obsess over tribe. Share this post with your other IDs. 1 Like |

[s] NGpatriot:[/s] See painment Which state is benefitting from Lagos taxes in Southwest outside Lagos, during recession five typical Yoruba states were bailed out during recession by FG, Lagos gov should have use their huge financial muscle and bail them out, Lagos is cosmopolitan state, a former colony even if Nigeria cease to exist, Lagos will maintain as a state own by all, except you guys are ready to contend with other tribes and foreigners, majority of northern elite, east owns lots of properties in Lagos, Dangote is not stupid to site his largest investments in Lagos, you said Yoruba states benefits more than easterners, after all the rants over Eko Atlantic city no single Yoruba man is a tenant in the city yet, Igbos and Lebanese occupied the city for now may be I should reminde you Coscharis Lagos base business man recently built large rice milling plant in Anambra, Orange drugs recently built ultra modern pharmaceutical industry in Onitsha, same as Ekulo group, MIP, nestoil constructing power plant, he built best Children hospital in Nigeria in his home town Okija, and lots of Igbo guys that their businesses are in Lagos majority of them have invested heavy in Southeast, you see you are ignorant. 1 Like |

[s] ANSMEDIA:[/s] See how dumb and cueless you people are? Comedian...What's my business with whatever charity they do in their okija village? 1. Lagos state is a member of the SW states and forum so they pay their membership and development fees and dues with tax collected from businesses in Lagos state, including the ones you are bragging with in this thread. 2. Lagos is not only a member of the SW forum, they are also a member of the Odua group so taxes generated from your ibo businesses in Lagos state fund general activities across the SW. 3. Whatever they do in your village after paying us in the SW is their business, bottom line, we take our cut and develop Lagos and the SW with their money. 4. That building and thousands like it all over Lagos state are right there in the SW not in any SE state or village and after securing your biafra, they shall remain in the SW and keep generating IGR for the SW regardless of the owner or whatever charity they dash you in okija.. lol @ rice mill...who dash monkey backyard and mushroom rice mill when we are talking about largest investments in Nigeria, even Dangote's largest single refinery in the world, largest petrochemical plant, largest fraternizer plant, largest gas plant, $15 billion investment and this village comedian is talking about rice mill in his okija village? The same rice mill that even poorer states like Kebbi and others are building left and right. ... 1 Like |

etrange: I think the family has being in Nigeria for donkey years. Don't be surprised that some them might be carrying Nigerian citizenship. There are some foreign families from Gambia, Sierra Leone and Lebanon that have become part Lagos. For example, the Shingle family, their father was part nationalist struggle in Nigeria. |

NGpatriot:From your writeup it clearly showed you have low IQ, I believe Dangote is from Southwest He choosed Lagos instead of Ondo State, Lagos is former colony and save heaven for all tribes, that's main reason North are linking all thier major cities to Lagos, according to you Lagos belong to this and that and they couldn't save your sorry as.s during recession even now majority of your states ranked low in sustainability index, just know Lagos is for all, it's hard for you tribe's men to reclaim Kwara that other tribes have no interest except Fulani, talk more of Lagos Hausa/Fulani, Igbos, Edos, other Niger Delta tribes, Lebanese, Chinese, Indians etc are well rooted na die 1 Like |
