Chase was the first bank to shut me down overnight. I received a zelle transfer from someone that does bitcoin business. The transfer failed and next day, account was closed down. BOA is my joint account, i cant mess with it for immigration purpose.

I have learnt to do things by the book according to bank rules. They want every money coming into your account be accounted for, know the source.

They don't want cash lodgement as they cant verify the source, all to prevent money laundering. Its a good move, i believe!

True.

Both Bank of America & Chase Bank also closed my account for irregular deposits.

Let say you receive $1500 direct deposit every two weeks from your employer & then all of a sudden you now receive $10,000 deposit from a friend in another state they tend to shut down your account for such irregular deposits after a while

To them your incoming deposit doesn’t match your expected biweekly earnings.

The worst part is they don’t even tell you the reason why the closed your account & onto of that they both report your account to Chexsystems which makes it extremely difficult for you to ever open a Checking Account with another Bank.

What I now did was I registered my Business with the state & then opened both a Business Account & a Personal Account with WellsFargo Bank.

My biweekly earnings goes into my personal account while my Business earnings from Amazon, PayPal, Zelle & CashApp goes into my Business Account.

For example I can walk into a Bank & deposit $20,000 into my Business Account no questions asked & I can also receive $15,000 in incoming wires plus send out $5,000 in outgoing wires without any problems.

But I can’t try that with my personal account. They shut you down real quick.

My advice would be to register your Business in Chicago with the Secretary of State & then use the paperwork from the Secretary of State to open both a Business Checking Account & Business Savings Account with WellsFargo Bank

I have had my Business Account with WellsFargo Bank for two years now & so far no issues.

I also use square to charge my customers & squares deposits the money directly into my Bank Account.

Just makes sure you have the receipts from your customers stored somewhere incase the Bank asks for it.

I usually file taxes for my LLC’s as well at the Beginning of the Year with the IRS.

So if the Banks ask for those documents, I can readily provide them as well.

What if the earnings is from upwork which could also have irregular income, will the account still be closed.

Yes, Sex can be gotten anywhere anytime you want it BUT pls be careful as well. The worst mistake that could ever happen is impregnating AA woman you dont like, You already know next is Child support! Dont get trapped. Of course, I am sure, You know all these!!

For the amazon Flex, I dont know if the word "FLEX" has an impact on the job. As you rightly said, The job is not that difficult and you rarely come across or lift so many heavy packages daily. the closest one to me in 45 mins drive(Skokie) and i have been dragging my feet about it .

As for Money, I know we are here to make money but money is still not everything. I have worked 3 jobs and some side hustle and made so much money that my bank questioned how i was able to make so much money like that. As the money keep dropping into my account, so I always make transfer into my other accounts. I have answered questions with both PNC and TCF banks and PNC eventually closed down my account and even my TCF is on a time bomb.

Also I come to realise the more money i make, the more responsiblities I have.. When you work work and work, I always tell my friends, when will you even have the time to enjoy this money? Now, I have 5 trips lined up for 2020(2 international trips) trying to go on vacations and enjoy the money i have so much worked for..

I heeded this advice and now I’m the Vice President of the honor society.

I saved up some money and bought a car as well.

Currently I’m working 4 jobs simultaneously, I quit my ups job and I’m working at Amazon now along with two nursing homes and a staffing agency. I’m also going to school, taking Microbiology and Anatomy & Physiology 2 - the last of my prerequisites for the nursing program

Picture of my car below.

I go try update and break down this post sha cos a lot has happened to me. One love
where's the car picture? I didn't see it. Will love to see the picture of your whip.

Ah! Ups.

Lemme break down my time there for you.

I worked with ups for one year and a couple of months.

The “earn and learn” program is a great program that covers your tuition. It has a lot of benefits in the long run but working at ups warehouse would fvck your body up. The work no be play play. The shift I was working was only scheduled for 4-5hrs daily but that’s non-stop manual labor bro with a 10 minute break. You can’t even sit down for 2 minutes in between loading trailers, your supervisors would start harassing you. Each time I get off work, I would be dreading the 40 minute drive back home cos I’d be so so sleepy. You can’t imagine the number of times I was sleep-driving and nearly crashed my car but on each occasion, I’d be jolted awake at the last second and swerve my car back onto the highway. One time I wasn’t so lucky, I swerved too late, hit a low rise curb and burst my front passenger tire. Luckily I had a spare so I changed it up and continued on my way home.

I thought long and hard about my decision to quit the job. By virtue of the fact that I had worked with them for 7-8 months, they offered me great health insurance. (On paper, they only offer it to those that stay up to a year but I guess it’s 8 months). I heard from those that had been there longer than myself that the job gets sweeter the longer you stay with the company but it’s physically tasking - how much can your back handle? Over the course of the time I spent with them, each time I see people with blue vests (newly hired people), I make a mental guess as to how many days they would stay before running away grin. Some people quit after the first day, one Chinese boy I met quit after one week.

I thought I was getting a great deal until they offered my a one week paid vacation (because I had been with the company for one year). During that week I was doing nothing at home, cos I decided to just relax. Then I remembered I had made a mental note to check out amazon warehouse job at this amazon facility 15 minutes from my house. I applied for a shift called “flex” where you get to pick up the shifts you want to work on a mobile app on your phone. I got accepted the same day (Monday) and they scheduled my interview scheduled for Wednesday so i went. After the paperwork that day, I and some other persons were assigned to a trainer. When we got to the warehouse proper, the job was nothing compared to ups. No lifting of heavy objects, all you gotta to is scan items, wrap boxes and push it onto a conveyor belt in front of you.

I vex! I was like “is this all you guys do?” For $15/hour. The trainer was surprised I asked that question, he thought I found the job hard when it was the exact opposite!

**sorry for my rambling.

In retrospect, the Ups earn and learn program is super nice but don’t be a truck loader or unloader for too long, move your way up the ladder, try to become a supervisor (I wasn’t too lucky at that).

So nah people like you dey make Jeff bezos rich. Damn! These rich people just sit in their house/office while they wait for bank alert, while other people do the hard work for them,This life ain't fair I swear.

But I still think 4 jobs is too much tho.. At least 2 jobs.. Not to even mention school and studies.. You need to give your body rest. Very important.

I quite agree with you bro but kindly permit me to list some points. Maybe u left your 'home' (Nigeria) a long time ago, things have changed here too, truly I don't suffer abuses and deprivation because of my color here but I suffer abuses and deprivation because I am ofe mmanu.. Chukwudi still refers to my people as Afonjas, Bola still called Emeka a flat head on nairaland, Ayo still called Malam Audu a gambari... Everywhere is full of tribal wars. What more abuse and deprivation is worse than a nation divided against herself? number two, I don't care if I look different anywhere, variety is the spice of life as long as I didn't drop my self esteem at 'home'. Lest I forget to remind you, Competition is no longer the order of the day here, connection is. Even if u come first in the competition, who do you know. CONNECT OR DIE!!!!! Those r d only two options remaining at home baba... A jobless graduate still threatened to commit suicide in d job/ vacancies section dis week... On a final note, I think I will prefer a place where fighting is prohibited cos I dread SCARS!!!!! grin

almost 3 years later, the tribal wars here and every other thing u said is still waxing strong

If you care to know.

I know a friend that earns exactly that amount driving to make deliveries for a company and additional $1500 working as an instrumentalist for one of the popular Nigerian church. So how much is that all together; $3500 right? He is yet to have his GC.

I thought one couldn't get a job without a GC as it allows them have the SSN? Pls clarify.
