Are you afraid of stats?

Three of the local governments in Lagos state are far more developed than any local government in Nigeria save Abuja municipal. Facts

Isnt it interesting that all of a sudden you developed aversion to stats...smh. However, I noticed something peculiar with many Yorubas. You guys are quick to pull the "Lagos" card. I don't even want to get into the bogus claim you made because it's evident you are shifting grounds...lol.

If you want to make your usual brag that has no modicum of facts do it with your village people...we have a lot of learned and wise people here. But ,let me engage you a little bit....the marginal success of Lagos is not as a result of the Yoruba man's intelligence and ingenuity. Lagos profited primarily because of its location and suitability. You seem a bit educated but you lack exposure.

Thats true ooo

Istanbul Basaksehir played on the 10th and today is 12th

Too early to play somehow, he might arrive that same 10th if fast, because flight from istanbul to cairo is not up to 3 hours

Hence most Nigerian private entities didn't bother with the NPFL. I aways knew our saviors would sadly come from outta the country.

With time it will change.

How?? There needs to be deliberate efforts to encourage private investment. I can not see the efforts now.

The only exception is at the National Team level.

Although the said dominant antecedent of the North African Teams is probably because their Players are mostly based at home without much foreign Exodus, thus, Their actions resulting to helping in improving the local Leagues available and making them competitive enough.

Thereby creating room for the established dominance in the continental championship.

you are spot on. How I wish our players can do same. they should stay and showcase naija footy rather than finding clubs in backwater clubs abroad.

It has been laid to rest already.

Are you sure...you find it very hard to stop and desist.of course so do plenty people here...going around in an endless circle is a constant feature in this thread...it would be very so so nice, if we can just break the circle...just bone.. quite liberating sometimes and often let some peace reign..

Salzburg is currently better than any team in turkey and zubby is only a makeshift player in turkey a benchwarmer ...the same mwepu that run our midfield ragged in uyo
andrewbaba44:

How is he better than zuby?

Forget that he is playing for salzburg, the turkish league is better than that league, so tell me how is he better than zuby

So mwepu is regarded as computer now? LOL

Next TV must have seen some efforts before partnering with the LMC.

Maybe you are not just looking the right way.

When some of the backwater clubs pay better and on time and their citizens watch matches no matter the quality?

The same league that only resumed weeks ago after a very very long break?

The league that can be suspended and winners of the league will be awarded at a round table meeting?

The league where a team can go years without winning an away game?

The league that has no popularity or views in its own country?

The league that is famous for intimidation of referees and match officials?

The league where some players have to protest and sleep in front of govt house over unpaid salaries?

The league that has no proper planning and welfare package for its players? How many clubs have health care insurance packages for their players in case of injuries or illnesses.

I'd rather go to a backwater league in Lithuania or Azerbaijan than remain in the NPFL.

Lol seems he ran our midfield in uyo he is also better than all eagles midfielders we have, its funny how much of you judge football

So if wolves players ran out mancity players means wolves players are better

Salzburg better than all clubs in turkey? I give up the arguement here.

Not even the glorified NTA claiming to be the biggest network station in Africa?

At least a game per week is not too much na.

AiT is all about noise
Channels prefer winning one yeye award yearly just by repeating news all day.

Its just weird

Should Nigeria not have a private network vying for stuffs like this across Africa?

Nigeria Jagajaga was the song sanged by Idris Abdulkareem that OBJ vilified him for.

But in reality, that is the situation of things till date.

Imagine when HiTV came into the fold of showing the EPL as NIGERIA'S indigenous Pay satellite station, Were the governing body encouraged and supported that they did not continue with respect to the EPL telecast??

If they had continued, wouldn't they have had a better package for the NPFL by now in the interest of NIGERIA?

Take a look at DSTV/SUPERSPORT even, you only gets to see STUDIO MANAGEMENT and SET UP by AFRICANS ONLY when MTN is the EPL sponsor.

Whereas, If it is GLO, you won't see the above as a way of encouraging African content-(Match PRE and POST Analysis wise).

Too much love and crave for anything and everything foreign is the bane of our development as a Nation and continent as the case may be.

From what I posted from LMC page, I think they are buying the right then resell to various media platforms.

I don't think so. But I can't say for sure too. CAF did say they will try resolve the issue so that Super Sport can begin airing on the 12th which is today but for now, can't say.
