Dessers, Ejaria will be waiting too
Koboko99:

You're always too quick to drag the NFF to the mud and question their lack of integrity and honour.
The same NFF spotted their talents and contacted these players when they were teenagers. Kudos to them.

These players gave excuses at that time. Now they are ready and the NFF has their reasons for not calling them.
If the NFF can patiently wait for the to be ready, they should be ready to wait till the NFF is ready too.

I used to once argue with you questioning the quality of the Championship, but see how the likes of Ajayi has turned out for SE. You’ve been vindicated over time.

He is the CM. Ndifreke is playing behind the Striker and is popping up all over the place. The forwards aren't exactly making the perfect runs too so what do you expect?!

One thing he is doing well in this game is keeping the ball and distributing it. We are giving the Zambians a game in midfield and that is credit to both Kelechi and Azubuike. Deal with it.

tbaba1234:

What exactly is he doing well? He is not creating anything. The Zambians are in control of the middle for the most part. The guy is no longer an outstanding player in my view.

that where you got it wrong, the same mikel rohr dropped to the bench at the afcon after under performing in the teams first game against burundi? this is the reason why i will always advocate for an european to take charge of the super eagles any day any time cus dem no dey look face.

if mikel was still in the team and aribo is doing better than him both in training and matches rohr wont hesitate to relegate mikel to the bench. coaches who wants results go for the best personnel to achieve their aim and goals and have no room for sentiments.

do you know iheanacho was among rohr's favourite when he took charge of the super eagles? when the lad lost form what happened?

what about the case of balogun who have been displaced from the team by inform omeruo and ajayi?
Danielnino00:

It is a national team and not a club team!!
there is limited spots available for each position.
U can't drop ur regular players anyhow just to test new players...
u invite and test new players only when absolutely necessary..
and I say again, as at right now, we don't need Iorfa! Our current CBs are good enough.. maybe when they get injured or loss form...

Do u think Aribo would have gotten his chance if Mikel and Ogu were still in the team??

We can still win this game but we need to improve our defensive structure. Zambia look like they can score whenever they go forward. We are not compact enough.

The point is, if you are a stand out player in the championship, you have demonatrated quality. Of course even a Barca player can flop. I don’t get the point u are making.

charlesemeka85:
Nigeria boss Gernot Rohr will make a late decision on whether to include Joe Aribo in his starting line-up for Wednesday's Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin in Uyo.

Aribo reported for international duty on Tuesday morning after a long trip from the United Kingdom and Rohr has suggested that it will be difficult for the Glasgow Rangers midfielder to make his full competitive international debut as he could be suffering from tiredness.

Speaking at Tuesday's press conference, Rohr told reporters including allnigeriasoccer.com : ''Aribo traveled all night long from London to Lagos to Abuja and then arriving now, I have not even seen him yet. It will be very difficult for him to start the game.

''I want to see in the training session how he is physically, our training session is late at 6pm to give them opportunity to sleep this afternoon.''

London-born Aribo has emerged as one of the influential players in the Super Eagles team after the Africa Cup of Nations, scoring in back-to-back matches against Ukraine and Brazil.

''If Aribo is fit, of course now he is one of our key players, if he is not fit I don't want to take any risk for injury and we will decide in the last moment tomorrow if he can start the game or not

''We see that he's doing well in his club, even in the Europa League but this is a special situation now and we have to manage it,'' Rohr added.

Should he step out onto the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium turf against the Squirrels, even for one second, the former Charlton Athletic star will become cap-tied to Nigeria for life.

Rohr sef.

Did he use Edegbeline to travel the 450 miles to London from Glasgow on bad roads. It's not Abuja to Lagos Road haba.

No he did not, 45 minute flight to Heathrow to from Glasgow then that same evening first class flight to Lagos.

Arrives refreshed he will not flu economy.

The wahala starts in Nigeria, delayed flights, bad roads, etc that's when he might get a bit fatigued.

Otherwise he is good to go.

My point is that because you are doing well in the championship doesn’t guarantee you will do well in the eagles ,don’t praise the championship but praise the player

No go dey do like komekn ,if an Epl ,laliga ,Seria A player can flop in the national team then anyone can flop

Clumsy and weak yet he wriggled out of a situation when marked by two players in midfield around the twenty/thiry something minutes mark... And kept the ball beautifully finding his nearest teammate with a simple forward pass.

Clumsy and weak yet I have seen him win a few duels in the air in this game. Azubuike have been full of running and uses his strength well.

What about their long balls? Azubuike and Nwakali have had more successful long ball passes in this game than any of the Zambian Midfielders.

We are dominating Possession and a huge chunk of that credit goes to both Kelechi and Azubuike.

They are not perfect... Or having it 100% good... No. But they have been decent and vital for the team so far.

Evidently Zambia is always lobbing over the midfield to those two strikers...

A coordinated team would have finished them off...I SAW A MOMENT WHEN WE RUSHED THE ZAMBIANS AS THEY WANTED TO BUILD PLAY....THEY LOOKED CONFUSED AND LOST THE BALL....WE NEED TO ASSERT OURSELVES..THIS GAME IS OURS IF WE DO SO
