I experienced such this morning, had to wait for 30 minutes after 2 restart .
Bro, what can i do in a situation whereby i took a rider somewhere and he's in a hurry for a meeting (Visa interview) and at the end of the trip, the fare reads 2800 on a 2hours journey (23.8km)?
He obviously can't wait for a review, so he paid 2800 , if I were in such situation, i wouldn't jeopardize my chances of getting a visa out of this shithole country but my mind tells me the fare should be 3k because of the previous trips with sane distance and time.
Or is the fare correct? Maryland -Walter Carrington.
Sadly, that's the correct fare sir

However, I’m thinking o, can we have a Whatsapp group?! An easier connect on update like emergency, real time traffic update, security (mostly as December dey come), and maybe once a while offline trip in house request , or assistance (car broke down and the rest)..

This thread has helped tremendously and I believe a Whatsapp group will even be a faster response.

Members can be vetted in , probably by time they’ve been active in the thread or contributions.

I would have started one, but then, I have plenty elders in the forum

No doubt a thought in the right direction but in my honest opinion, I think if a WhatsApp group is created it will kill the 'mesmerizement', drive and long term reason this thread was created. I know people who come here everyday just to come relieve stress and get real life scenario of happenings in and around the city of an average Cab lagosian.

Some of us are in various WhatsApp groups aligning Ehailing but we have chosen to take this place as the headquarters of WHERE E DEY HAPPEN.

Not to throw your suggestion overboard but you will have to look at issues of highhandedness and irrationality, (How will the participants be added?, will it be just drivers and owner partners? What about the people that comes here as guests?) We have people more experienced than we are who have been there before us that actually sets the pace, if they visit and found out we have moved shop, they may not be okayed and hence might fall short of the criteria to join the WhatsApp group. Notwithstanding no matter the friendship or open teeth, some people would rather not drop their phone numbers online.

I beg to differ Sir.... Let's just rebrand the house and always keep an open mind as we pilot riders from point A to B daily.

Seniors, Another issue, I noticed when I slow down to get into a large pothole, n I press the accelerator to move out, the car stalls for a while until I keep pressing before it picks n move out.

But if I take the stick to the 'L' , the car moves out easily, before I take it back to 'D'.

My mechanic said we shd service the gear that that's d cause.

We bought new T-4 oil and he cleaned the filter and the grease on the gear plate.

He coupled everything back , but the problem persists.

Seniors, any one had this kind of experience before.?

Pls how did you go about it?
seniors, abeg make una put mouth for dis matter.
