sometimes the other team is just simply better and no coach or technical bench can change the fact of induvial brilliance on the field, today we were simply outclassed by the better team. The west are too physical for us we need to play more friendlies and even change the diet of our players to beef up more power.
All these Zambians saying the west are too physical bla bla bla, they were the one playing jam body and fowling our players anyhow yesterday.

If they were playing Cameroon, I would understand because those ones even their U17 went to play jam body football in brasil.

It might seem to be a blow to their future though but not necessarily True because Our physicality was the thing that overpowered them yesterday

While also noting that the Head-to-head stuff is always a difficult circumstance to overturn easily, hence their slump.

The penultimate statement above is why everyone is chorusing #EMERYOUT from my darling ARSENAL since he is finding it difficult to see off easily the EPL Teams his predecessor-ARSENE WENGER usually put away comfortably.

All in all, Those guys can still reshape the future of ZAMBIAN football perfectly.

Yes na. Every thing is possible. They have really invested so much energy in ensuring they make it to the Olympics. For them to send Enoch Mwepu, Patson Daka and Fashion Sakala to play the U23 tournament rather than the AFCON qualifiers, it tells u where their preference lies.

AHMED MUSA, JOE ARIBO AND OTHER SUPER EAGLES PLAYERS GERNOT ROHR SHOULD NOT START AGAINST BENIN
opera.com

The Super Eagles will be taking on the Squirrels of Benin later today in their bid to make it to Cameroon 2021. The first time they will be playing a competitive match since they finished third at the African Cup of Nations earlier this year.

In all fairness, Gernot Rohr calls the shots. He has the prerogative of picking his team, and he sinks and swims with the outcome. Regardless, this write-up takes a look at the players in the squad and gives an opinion on what the team selection should be like, highlighting some players that are better off starting on the bench and reasons why.

AHMED MUSA.

The captain of the team has not played for the team since after AFCON 2019. The team, without him have played two friendlies in that time and produced good performances in draws against Ukraine and Brazil. It should also be noted that Musa was not so impressive at the AFCON, where he failed to score a goal. The likes of Samuel Kalu, Moses Simon, Dennis Bonaventure and Samuel Chukwueze have been impressive on the wings and also in good forms in their clubs, there is no point altering the apple cart and starting Musa ahead of these guys. Musa can always be a good option off the bench with his pace and experience.

DANIEL AKPEYI.

Another player returning to the team for the first time since the AFCON. Akpeyi was first choice at the AFCON but was dropped from the team for the friendlies against Ukraine and Brazil. There is a feeling he is only making a return to the team because Francis Uzoho is out injured. At the AFCON, he was not particularly impressive. He was not commanding and did not inspire confidence. He has become synonymous with nervy displays in the Super Eagles. He has been in impressive form with his South African club – Kaizer Chiefs but he has not been convincing enough in the Super Eagles. We should also not forget, the last time the Super Eagles lost a AFCON qualifying game at home, against South Africa, Akpeyi was in goal. Enough said!

JOE ARIBO

The Glasgow Rangers midfielder has played well in the two matches he has played for the Super Eagles. He has scored two goals in his two matches for the team and showed very impressive performances. The match against Benin is his chance for his first competitive game. Throwing him into the starting line-up in a competitive home game in front of a massive home fans in a terrain he is not very familiar with, might be too much for his young shoulders.
The fear is, he gets overwhelmed by the occasion and may find it hard to recover from it. Rohr should thread with caution. Also considering that he just arrived in camp on Tuesday, a day to the match, after featuring for Rangers in the Scottish league on Sunday. He might just be better off starting on the bench.

PAUL ONUACHU

Paul was second choice striker behind Odion Ighalo at the AFCON. He started the first game against Burundi when Ighalo was not available to start. Since then, Victor Osimhen has grown in leaps and bounds. He starred in the Super Eagles friendlies against Ukraine and Brazil and he gave a good account of himself. He has also scored 8 goals in the French league this season for Lille. Based on form, Onuachu should not be starting ahead of Osimhen.

Onuachu also looks like he will be a better option if he starts on the bench, his height and aerial ability could be a good plan B option. Rohr should aslo consider that Onuachu has hardly had an impressive game for the Eagles since he scored against Egypt in a friendly last year.

After all said, Gernot Rohr calls the shots and earns the millions for making the calls. It is expected that the Eagles should start their 2019 AFCON qualifying series on a good note, as long as they win and perform well, who starts or does not start may not matter after all.

There was no VAR in the Swansea game. VAR is there to prevent teams from being robbed.

This is a case of the Match Officials including those in the VAR room seeing some thing and doing another. Then lying against it. Jumping to unrelated topics does not in anyway contribute to the topic.

Philip Billing admits he is frustrated by not getting picked for Denmark.

The Bournemouth midfielder was left out of Age Hareide's recent squad despite starting all 12 Premier League games this season.

He told the Daily Echo: "I have to be careful because I made some comments before.

"He (Hareide) picks the squad. He has obviously picked a Championship player in front of me (Brentford's uncapped Christian Norgaard), which if he thinks he is better then that is how it is. But I haven't gone into it too much.

"I have days off now, so I will just enjoy them and chill and wish Denmark all the best."

While i am indefrent about Akpeyi's case, for Aribo I totally disagree.

He was not overwhelmed by the crowd in
Dnipro, Ukraine and and the crowd in Singapore for the Brazil friendly is it the fans in Uyo stadium that i am sure the stands will be half empty?

Joe Aribo is having a good run of games for the national team. Why bench him?

It is the same journalist that will still come up tomorrow to say "why didn't he start Aribo"? Some of these journalists no sabi ball at all.

He was actually called because he's the most qualified and inform.

Not like he called him without merit.

He does not trust both Ezenwa and Okoye because both haven't really performed and I keep wondering why Ezenwa is being called going to 4 years now.

Ezenwa has not played up to 30 first team football for almost 4 years. No merit whatsoever!

One of the subjects Gernot Rohr spoke about at the pre-match press conference on Tuesday was the composition of the Dream Team VII, with the German stating that not all the best players are with the team at the ongoing U23 Africa Cup of Nations because the tournament is clashing with the AFCON qualifiers.

Of the 23 players Rohr named to his roster for the AFCON qualifiers against Benin and Lesotho, six are eligible to represent the country at the 2020 Olympic Games namely Maduka Okoye, Chidozie Awaziem, Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, Emmanuel Dennis and Samuel Kalu.

In addition, goalkeeper Francis Uzoho, Henry Onyekuru and Josh Maja, who all have caps for the Super Eagles but have not been called up for the AFCONQ, are age-eligible to play for coach Imama Amapakabo's side.

''I was in Cairo in the same stadium we picked a bronze medal, Al Salam Stadium, and I saw our U23 team playing so a little nostalgia was there,'' Rohr told reporters including allnigeriasoccer.com.

''Now the new qualifiers for the next AFCON in Cameroon we want to go to Cameroon and to do well again, that's why we are happy that we have some players who could not come since the last AFCON, we have two or three of them back now.

''We could see other young players who are interesting for the future and when I saw the average age for the team in Singapore against Brazil, 23.6 years.''

The German continued : ''That's why our U23 team, they don't have all the best players because they are with us, it's the same time so we could not give our best players.

''We have six or seven who are U23; Ola Aina, Awaziem, Ndidi, Chukwueze, Kalu, Osimhen but this is good for our future.

''The qualifiers will be very interesting to see because it is not a friendly.''

Nigeria U23s came from behind to beat Zambia 3-1 on Tuesday evening to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the 2020 Olympic Games in Japan.

You still didn't answer the question.

Question still begging.
the question was answered in the second paragraph, but since it is not the answer you're looking for, you think I haven't answered.

Do your own list and remove Okoye if you wish, the guy posted his personal opinion and owes you no explanation or defence.
