Please admins I am not trying to break any rules, neither am I scam. I am just desparate. All claims herein are verifiable.

PLEASE HELP ME!
THIS IS A GENUINE PLEA FOR HELP.

HELP ME.
I am a student. I was referred to an investment platform by a close associate. I started with small investments and then gradually increased it when it looked trustworthy.

Meanwhile, I started taking loans from other students, and promised to return them, with interest.

At a point, things went south real fast, and it was from one story to another. All withdrawals cancelled, and we were asked to reinvest to withdraw old money.
Now, three months later, ALL my creditors have let loose on me, the most painful thing being that all of them trusted me because of my reputation.

Please, I need help. I have held it in for two long; I have done all I could do, I have tried to even borrow to invest and release funds, but my reputation is already ruined; no one wants to lend me money. The stigma has even made me unable to do school work. Our just concluded exams was a mess, but that is secondary.

Even if I could get people to lend me money, it would take months before I could retrieve the over 700k in my account.

This afternoon, I was summoned to my school's security office where I had to sign that I will pay one particular person before Friday.

Tomorrow, another person's reputation will be ruined because of my decision - she used money other students placed in her custody to give me as a loan, all because of trust.

She has been calling, texting, crying, I don't even know what to do. If suicide will solve the problem, it's not now I thought of it. But it can't solve anything.

All my claims are verifiable. I currently have at least five agreements duly stamped by the court for different people, granting them to take whatever means necessary to retrieve their money.

Please help me. I am the first child of my parents, and though not the breadwinner, I am taking care of two of my siblings staying with me. My parents are both advanced in age, and this will break them.

I need help, I admit it. I am a charity case.
I need help. Anything laid in your heart, please take urgent action. I beg. I beg you in the name of whoever or whatever touches your heart.
PLEASE HELP ME! I DON'T EVEN HAVE 24 hours. I can't sleep. I just woke from a troubled sleep

My thoughts are scattered as I type, Nairaland community help me. Anything you can comfortably spare. I have to raise over 800 thousand naira, but even your five hundred naira means a lot to me.

Please no matter your present condition, please donate. 50 naira, 100 naira, 500, a thousand, please anything would go a long way.

I'm trying to understand this. You collected loan and you want us to pay it for you?

See Mr. Eazi o! - life is easy, haha... That's so funny cheesy

Yes, I understand but I was referring to your inaccurate breakdown. They certainly need more hairs to barb than in your breakdown to achieve the said amount.

My breakdown was based on the delivery amount and not on the gross amount to be made. I have been barbing with a particular barber for more than 10 years. I normally go early on Saturdays because so many people come there. Sometimes if i go there by 9am, i will meet about 3 people already waiting. Money made on a weekend can easily cover the weekly running expenses. Light is a bit constant in my neigbourhood because of prepaid meters.

Mr. Ahiboilandgas, you are a blessing to this thread. I keep learning everyday here. I wish I knew this thread way back 2013, I would have been better. But it's never too late to retrace my steps.

I'm now wiser. Thanks to your info, I'm making better financial decisions as I grow my money gradually. Easy does it, I'll get there with time and hardwork.

God bless you sir.

All of them coming here to tell people about raising financial models and running many businesses that has not failed are just setting traps waiting for their potential bush meat to enter. They now know many people here have capital looking for where to invest so they want to use that opportunity to dupe people.

Some ntb investors will be broke by the time rate increase, their so called calculated risk free businesses would have failed them, if you invest all or big part of your funds in a business you are not familiar with, you are liable to go bankrupt, not because the said business is not profitable, but because the eagerness, fear, etc imputed in it can easily ruin the business, but it's advisable to use interests realized through tbs to start your choice of business, thereafter you grow it with the same proceeds from tbs. To gather funds is hard but to squander them is very easy

I,once read a thread on Nairaland of a guy who invested in( Mai shai) tea seller in the Northern part of Nigeria and Akara seller as well, he opened several outlets for both businesses and was doing exactly what you said about the barbing saloon business and he was making cool cash weekly from both the akara and tea sellers respectively, such businesses might look small in the eyes of people but it is bringing in income weekly to the owner and it is enough to get by in Nigeria.

l, once did transportation bizness years ago before I left Nigeria although mine was strictly on hire purchase, l buy several vehicles / motor bikes and give it out on hire purchase, recipient enters agreement with me / my lawyer for 2 years and after payment he now owns it, it was not a bad business for me at that time, atleast, l was always having cash flow weekly before I left Nigeria finally , those kind of SME's are what the current crackheads in Abuja should massively encourage to alleviate the endemic hardship across Nigeria.

l wonder what the so-called social investment intervention funds of Buhari is doing because it seems it is not really addressing the problem of hunger and starvation in Nigeria, or part of the money goes into private pockets of politicians and their cronies, because I don't understand why with all the N-power / N-failure / back to agricultural programs / 500million or billion intervention funds the country is still the world Cup headquarters of acidic poverty of the world shocked

No need to fear we have gone through the cycle B4 ....from 6 to 14.5 .....the apc chairman hate tb and told mr president that it was day light robbery ....i wonder if the capital invested in tb is picked in the ground ....it from the real economy (people sweat ) ......they destroy profits feom bdc to 80k weekly from 500k ,.....i still remain in the tb markets even at 5 percent ....cos this is security in a country without social security.....expanding income will be through service as a bussiness analyst

Sure boss. If anything the system is set up to favour a few, either by virtue of tribe or religious persuation.

No level playing ground for all.

Now that tbills is no longer attractive. It's interesting seeing how the contributors here are exposing opportunities in small scale businesses (real economy). So lower tbills rate is good for the economy as this will definitely reduce unemployed youths in the street.

May I suggest that anybody with a viable business idea or model should help us out as TBills is gradually decreasing in percentage? Anothet thread may be created for this purpose too inorder not to deviate from the initial purpose the thread has been serving. I await your opinion on this request.

Returns on Treasury bills should come down to as low as 8% by year end.

I remember getting as low as 6% from the secondary about 4 years ago or thereabout.

Low interest rates and single digit returns on fixed income investment is good for businesses and the economy.
I remember when you posted this so I wanna ask what’s the future of tbills, will rates increase anytime soon?

I am not sure if rates will increase, the most important thing is to be diversified, be prepared for the worst and also pray for the best, that is my risk management strategy

When you think it couldn’t get worse now another ridiculous assumption. Someone few days ago was very happy about the fake news from punch that individuals are barred from buying treasury bills because according to him profits from treasury bills are ‘free money’.

Some of us who invest in treasury bills live abroad and you think we are unpatriotic and greedy by lending to our home country to build infrastructures. You think everybody has time to run a business or even knows how to run a business in a risky environment such as Nigeria. The money we lend to government in treasury bills is put into building of infrastructures that employ many Nigerians. You see building of infrastructures from treasury bills funds creates jobs. Indirectly we are creating jobs. Those folks who earn money working in infrastructural projects funded by treasury bills and bonds in turn put that money back into the economy. So treasury bills investors are not unpatriotic and we are not greedy because our country and many of our fellow citizens are benefiting from our investments.

Another point is that I will never put my money into any business in Nigeria while I reside abroad. Even if treasury bills rate goes to 0.00001%, I will never put my hard earned money into any business in Nigeria. Until our govt. in Nigeria creates a friendly business environment, I will be glad to leave my funds in savings account in the country of my residence than to lose them trying to invest in risky businesses back home.

U nailed it. If Emefiele want, let him reduce the rate to 1%, I will happily accept it. Confused government.

I've some undeveloped plots around and I'll still rent some. I'm planning to divert parts of my fund to cassava farm. I've perfected my plan already and this will give me higher interest rate than Tb and Bond
Cbn can't stop me from making money in this country. grin grin

Your cassava farm would employ people, by so doing, you add value. This is what the govt wants to happen, to encourage investment in the real sector. I hope other TB investors would do same.

From the look of things NIGERIA STOCK MARKET (NSE) will be the toast of investors for the next 6 month.

As long as the MONEY MARKET rates remain unattractive the EQUITY MARKET will BOOM!

So it's better to join the BANDWAGON now.
