Hello All, Congratulations to all those that have received their visa. As for me, should I be worried as today makes it 108 days that I have submitted our application (my husband, daughter and I). We submitted online on July 30th,2019. What steps should I take to follow up with VFS? |

My Bvl dropped yesterday by 2:04pm. It's now more than 24 hours and I still haven't received an email from Cic, I'm tired of refreshing my email. Because I heard once is more than 24hours or maximum of 48 hours. There will be a greater probability of denial. Please how authentic is this information? Anyone in the house should help please. |

Hi guys, trust we are all doing good. Just a quick question please. I submitted an application for my mum to come visit on the 4th of Nov and she got the biometrics request letter on the 5th. She did the biometrics on the 12th and yesterday she got an email from VFS that reads : Visa application, tracking ID No. has been received at the Lagos OC VAC on 2019-11-14 09:57:28 AM GMT Standard Time and is on transit to the IRCC Office in Lagos OC ,for processing. Please note this is an auto generated e.mail. Please do NOT reply to this email. Regards, VFS Global. It's confusing because she hasn't submitted her passport neither has she gotten PPR. I'd appreciate it if anyone who has experienced this will help me out. Thanks. 1 Like 1 Share |

Hello House, I applied for travel visa since Jane 1, 2019. I'm yet to hear from them. I sent mails, I was told to be patient. So I decided to withdraw the application. Is there any consequences in future if I want to apply again? |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Ozzz: 11:24pm On Nov 15, 2019 |
blessedkings: January ? or June? I dont want to think there is any consequence other than you may have to explain why you withdrew your last application when next you are applying. It maybe be a red flag if you withdrew your application before the average processing time back then, however if it was withdrawn after the normal processing time then you don't have a problem 1 Like |

Good day house, Please anybody with the Nairaland trend link on how to apply for a Shengen visa? I submitted a Canada TRV application for my family (myself, wifey & son) on 11th of October & since their timeline is at least 72 days, am thinking of applying for a Shengen visa while waiting for Canada. Pls I need the Trend link so I can read up, I don’t trust all these agents scattered all over Lagos. |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by Gbemzow: 9:34am On Nov 16, 2019 |
@ calypso, I advice you wait for the conclusion of your TRV first because that application processing is faster now as it takes between 40-50 days |
Re: Canada Visit/tourist Visa Discussion. by ty01: 9:35am On Nov 16, 2019 |
Calypso1234: Which of the Schengen countries are you interested in so we can advise appropriately. Even if your Canada visa is approved today, you have up to a month grace to submit your passport and most Schengen are approved within a month. Hence I believe you’re good to go if you submit your Schengen application by next week. 1 Like |

@vicidomini What is your purpose of visit ? Well cic verify your bank account if the account is legit i will advice you to face your bank and printout new statement account with a reference letter . meanwhile truth set you free CIC sabi oluwole @packageman That is where you nail your leg why not fill it well since you escape ban you can reapply any time but make sure you fill your USA refusal and write a personal letter reason why you forgot to fill it that is all. . |
