anjilgreat: A lot of people will be millionaires if patience is all it requires.. it waay above just being patient my sister.. imagine being patient in Skyebank or Oando @ 30 naira.. Being patient in the right stock you bought at a good price at a right time. When I started trading, I’ll sometimes trade 10 stocks in a single month and out of these 10 stocks I’ll probably make profits on just 2 the rest na my broker I work for . The problem is not knowing when things will start moving in the direction you’d planned. As at June, who among us knew beginning of November will be green ? Not even the TA guys.. everybody go hide dey watch nse on 3D.. One do not need to trade 10 stocks to make it in nse you just need to be right on 1 or 2 stock. After buying your desired stock, close ear to anyone that will make or is making 200% cos before the info comes out you are late to the party and about to carry somebody kaya.. And also not bringing one’s account balance to zero because one don go load somebody company when him no dey among board of directors.. always have cash in your account.. it is far better to miss a bull than to trap your full account in a bear regime.. the frustration, anger and sleepless night is out of this world.. you can’t even average down when the time comes.. you’ll just be praying for BE.. You can beat this market if you pick your stocks wisely.. Be safe, go for a Good FA company that pays dividend and are trading at their lowest.. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Mcy56:My feelings though Once Dangote cem can execute their share buy back, it's price range will go up........ This will trickle down to Wapco..... The main fuel for Wapco will be their first and second dividend payout after this restructuring period as this will give institutional investors a better yardstick to price it.... 1 Like |

Mcy56: Stocks may not move as expected this week but for Wapco to pull back,I don't think. When the stock trades at 20,you may not be happy to buy it again because you refused to buy it at 14.I tell you,Wapco is cheap, very cheap at 20. Since they have disposed the south Africa subsidiary, expect more volume from the cement company in this period. 1 Like |

Anybody wey after 1 year on nse still do not get things right like me should pack their bags let’s leave next year ooo.. the money I made in diamond bank was just sheer luck.. it could have gone baaaaaaad and I would have dieeeeeed long time ago.. I have found another way to make money.. at least 8 out 10 times I’m always right.. and I know my faith in the next couple of minutes not like nse I’ll grow gray hair waiting to BE because I’m always buying stocks too high and going after stocks that might not pay my shishi as dividend.. 2 Likes |

TraDeRR: Exactly my point!, the summary is buying fundamentally good companies at cheap price even when the price reverses U may not fret to sell at a loss. The truth is that no one can time the stock Market but buying the right stock, at the right price and time with d application of discretion will go a long way. Based on my personal experince there are some stocks I may never buy, no matter what! 2 Likes |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 8:20pm On Nov 17, 2019 |
anjilgreat: Holding fundamentally sound stocks/dividend paying stocks is the best in stock market. But 75% fortunes of the stock market comes from the neglected stocks due to news/sentiments. 3 Likes |

locodemy: You are actually right. I personally put abt 85% -90% of my fund in fundamentally sound stocks and play around with the remaining10-15%. I benefitted from diamond bank and Cham with this 15%. |

TraDeRR: I really survived my sister, though I still have some stocks I am yet to sell because I bought high then like First Bank @ #33, Access Bank @ #14.90, Transcorp @#7.50 and the intercontinental bank shares experience. I had to leave the market for some period and came back stronger after I stumbled into this NSEMPA Thread. I have long recovered all the losses I made in the above named stocks. 3 Likes |

Your comments are on point. I developed an algorithm based on history that gave me a fair price for WAPCO, which is way above the status quo. However, i believe FY PAT and dividend announcement would be critical for institutional investor decision. What happens in the interim is up to Mr. NSE, insiders and the men with the volumes. maishai: |

@locodemy, your recommendation of WAPCO is on point. I have some in my portfolio and plan to buy more at N14 or below. Holding this stock in one’s portfolio is not a bad idea. Can’t wait to buy more Access with my loot from Access shares on Monday.... |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Nobody: 9:48pm On Nov 17, 2019 |
Coolcash1: I have been buying it in bits right from 10+,12,13 and now 14. I would have like to wait to see it pull back before buying again but my spirit is mandating me to buy tomorrow. One may wait for a pull back and the stock move to 20 and pull back may fall around 17. 1 Like |

A problem shared in this life is no longer a problem solved.. it’s a sold out.. A total see finish.. You just sold yourself out to that person you went seeking help from.. They’ll now feel they can say whatever they like about you.. whatever pleases them.. @Currentprice I still read your comments and wondering what gave you the temerity.. but in all i don’t blame you sha, I blame myself. Sometimes I wish I can block some people on this forum and not see their comments. |

sky2891: The news that would have propel the price was this power news but that while the government took to appoint ministers kidda killed the vibe.. I heard a minister’s signature was required but that office was empty.. “I heard oo” I just pray bubu will give us our money or say something about it and the power sector to gear up price again. TraDeRR: It's was never my intention to hold that long, when I wanted to sell in late 2008 my analogue stockbrokers so frustrated my sell mandate then that I got angry and vowed never to Invest in the NSE. I only had the mind to Invest when I got encouragement here from NSEMPA and the fact that I can trade by myself without those analogue stockbrokers. I have never regreted my decision to Invest in stock again because I have recovered those losses. I will sell that Access Bank shares as soon as it recovers and sell First Bank @ a loss of at least #11 but as for transcorp, I have counted the shares certificates as an NSE souvenier. I remember I bought Zenith Bank in 2006 @#16.90 and have been receiving dividend since then. So Zenith bank shares is still a gain to me since that time. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by anjilgreat(f): 7:58am On Nov 18, 2019 |
sky2891: In the NSE, anything can happen but that transcorp certificates is now considered as a souvenier to me until maybe something miraculous happens. |
