Where is my boss BBM, Oga mi sir, please touch light ASI for me and Transcorp.. I saw volume but it closes flat .. weytin that one mean
...Transcorp ended in indecision last Friday. There is possibility of price testing 1.01 level to either scare some people away or allow more investors to enter the stock. The stock becomes bearish if the low at 0.95 is violated. So far so good!

The same goes for ASI. Short term it is bullish & it could re-test the highlighted zone before any rally or any breakdown

You need to put things in proper perspective.
The power sector is troubled and for clarity, fg or bubu does not owe transcorp. The money in question is owed majorly by discos.
The fg has been magnanimous in bailing the discos out to settle some of the debts.
How long can the fg continue to throw good money on bad ones?
Settlement of the whole problem is difficult.

For all that we know that money can become a bad debt in transcorp book.....

The part in bold is totally FALSE my dear !!
I can tell u without mincing words that the FG is also indebted to TRANSCORP(power arm) just as the company is indebted to her(Afam power aquisation in view)
As a matter of fact, the fund in question is mainly owed to GENCOS and GAS SUPPLIERS.

One does not need a soothsayer to infer that u clearly don't like the coy. wink cheesy grin
The historical trend of ur post clearly suggest so(I have closely followed ur post on the coy)
Maybe the coy has disappointed u in the past, but that shouldn't prevent u from aligning with facts. ...or at worse remain neutral.
This is what I like to do.

Hear this;
TRANSCORP will deliver some good return.
...it's only a matter of time !!

Some of your assertions are not necessary.
Transcorp disappointing me in the past, that must be a joke... cool
I am not the one who promotes or ' talk down ' a stock because I own or didn't own it. I think that is childish as I don't believe whatever we say here have an impact on the performance of stock prices on the exchange.

Now back to the issue in question, I will be glad if you can provide any links to back up your argument that fg or bubu owes transcorp.

You are right. FG owe most if not all Gencos and gas suppliers through NBET/MO billions of naira, and this is the reason FG makes guaranteed payments on behalf of gencos so they continue to have enough working capital. Once a cost reflective tariff/electricity pricing is implemented, the power sector overall would get a boost, but for now all power sector players are ''living from hand to mouth"

As a childish person(that I am), I don't provide links to mature folks like u !!
Pls go and do ur research well(including an all-line read of the CS and NTS of their annual reports)
But u can be rest assured that what I stated is a FACT !! ...I prefer to align with facts, irrespective of whether I own a coy or not.

Those who have been following up with my post know that I even called for a buy(within a target range for a better BEP) on TRANSCORP before I personally keyed in myself. ...because I was waiting for my target entry peg then.
I also did the same thing on coys like NEM, WEMA, UACN, ZENITH and ACCESS to mention just a few, in the past here.

Recently, I also gave a buy call(with follow-up analysis) on CONOIL, NEIMITH PHARMACEUTICALS and DANGOTE SUGAR, even when I didn't have them in my portfolio.
So next time u want to put out indirect assertions like the 1st part of ur post in bold, do well to get ur facts right !!

TRANSCORP is even among the top 3 GENCOS that the FG owes the highest amount of money !!

Don't mind the 'mature' fellow who puts out spurious claims without basis. wink cheesy grin
It's always best to remain taciturn when u don't have FACTS over a matter, so u don't appear to be Machiavellian.
There are susceptible ones who could innocently take up and act on such claims.
