I can only speak to France and Germany. Germany took 2 weeks and 3 days to get the visa. I applied for 2 days but was given one year ; I was interviewed.

France took exactly 10 days. I applied for two weeks vacation and I was given 6 months multiple entry visa. No interview required.

It’s not a problem to get a correspondence letter.. it just means the final decision is on the way... can I ask what date you submitted? Don’t worry you will get a final decision in less than 24 hourswhen did your eligibility review start and is it paper route or an online application? ...

I just got correspondence letter and am really worried. I can't even tell my husband because he will be sad but I am not giving up on anything and still believe a miracle. I B.tech in Quantity Surveying and MSC in construction management or I applied for Global management diploma certificate. Family ties are my 4kids n hubby. Personal account 3.5m though it was paid in twice. Am into businesses so don't hv an office job. Hubby is my sponsor with opening balance 65m closing 61m. We co own the company. What do you think is wrong with my application?

Am sure you are wrong tread this is Canada visit tread Not student . but what I saw in your message is Bad sign you suppose to received medical request unlease you do upfront medical and again Diploma program can't fly when you already have MSC

Had 1m bank balance and 4m treasury bills
Been to USA UK Dubai Netherland Bahrain and Southafrica
Included all my awards and certainly

Letter of invite from sister

My sisters PR card

My purpose of visit was to visit my sister and kids who recently just got PR and I could not see them while they left because I was studying in the United States
Plus lots of prayer

At the moment how long does it take from visa application until approval/decision.
Will biometrics be submitted immediately after online application is submitted?
At what time will passport and be required for submission? Is it at point of submitting biometrics or after decision is made?
How long does it take from when passport is dropped and then handed back to the applicant?

Nobody can predict your chance although you have good travel history just pray and hope for good news

@Jj17cv, No news yet after the BVL dropped. I wonder how long it will take for them to return passport, I need my passport to travel next week Tuesday. I pray it's returned before then.

You have to reapply by your self and fill the form by your self your agent made a big mistake not to fill your US refusal ...Canada and US share d same data info you can reaply any time soon am sure they will grant u

Probably, your agent didn't know you have been denied before, so he filled in No, you should fill the form this time, and write a letter of explanation, how the agent filled it in error, and also explain reasons US denied you last year.

You stand a Good chance based on what you submitted but the ultimate decision lies in the VO.

Your purpose of travel, i.e.. flight and accomodation booking , how long did you propose to stay? did you book return ticket ?

@nasohian, you need to read this thread all answers are there. However
1. Currently processing time is 69days
2. Biometrics invite will come within 24 to 48hrs after submission, the earlier you do it the faster your application is attended to.
3.At biometrics collection and if your application is approved for stamping. Other times, you are with your passport.
4.15 days averagely but if fast, 8days.
Note: this is for online application

Yes I booked return ticket, 2 weeks with my sister in Winnipeg, to visit her and her family and relax because the last 8 months I have been in 3 different countries for work and worked over 40 hours a week, so I did not have the opportunity to see them before they relocated

US and Canada share immigration information. I can bet, they are aware you were denied. Your refusal is almost guaranteed if you do not act now. You had better send them additional information and explain that you not including your previous US refusal was an oversight. Please act now before the decision is made.

So sorry to hear @cheapfone, where the reasons for refusal stated or your agent will order GCMS Notes ?

Maybe you should just go ahead with your U.S. application.
