Guys please I need urgent assist.
I got into the uber/bolt platform as car owner but right now I'm getting a rental car for better operation.
What will the registration for this new ride be like especially now that the name on the document is different from that on my DL.
Please guys for those of you who have gone through similar process kindly assist me with information on how to add this new ride to my list

This means a 3rd App for existing Ehailing drivers. They said drivers will register with their cars on the platform, not branded.

If I can get you right you are an existing driver, all you need to do is take the new car for inspection and upload the inspection report.
Once they approve it you are good to go, the name on the documents doesn't matter as far as you have the documents and can upload it on the system.

Fear dey catch me for this Ocar coz have been following this thread for awhile, just sourced for fund to begin this ehailing soon. But my mind just dey flash go Idumota where cloth sellers plenty and on daily basis, each seller give thanks to God for the little she was able to sell for the day !!! It shall end in praise.

It has been confirmed. They will operate just like uber and bolt.

OCar has one similarity with Bolt, in that it charges drivers a 15% commission while Uber maintains its 25% rate. With this, it is possible that OCar’s trip fares would fall within Bolt’s range. But there’s a higher chance that the former would include a lot of incentives, as has been the norm with sister platforms, ORide and OTrike. All these point to possibly even lower fares on OCar.

In fact, OPay claims that the 15% commission reduces to 3% after drivers have done 20 trips within the same week. This, and the ₦200 ($0.55) per trip promo, may possibly cause a massive shift of drivers and customers to the newcomer.

How much fuel? Cos that's not part of the dashboard.?

Seriously I don't undastand how people double count in this biz.

Until you deduct money for fuel , WC wud amount to like 22-24k. You can't claim income DTS used up in d biz process.

In BTW, the guy self is still adding Tolls as part of his earnings, money you already gave LCC. He is still adding it as his income.

That's was how 2 ladies yestday told me an uber guy told them he makes 15k daily.

I was like 15k gross or net, they said 15k net, I was like maybe he is just trying to impress them .

That's like 90k net income evertwek, that's means he is doing like 140k ! every week. Haba , is he carrying ghosts or how ?

I just let go. Wen dem still dy insist.

many peeps have been here in the past sugaring their earnings and making hard working folks look lazy.my brother, they fizzled out before you know it. It was like they never existed.they pushed many peeps into trouble with their fake lives. Someone makes a #15k killing by Providence consistently for 3days,he comes here and starts bothering folks how easy it is to net it, whereas,it's mother luck that just smiled on him temporarily.
People have lost their health and cars trying to meet up with the joneses.me?I'll just say work within your limits.stay healthy to work another day. See this hustle as a temporary one while building a solid business model for yourself.dont overdo it.its a rat race.

If you wanted to go into ehailing before Ocar news, you can still go ahead. They're not coming with branded cars, just going to operate like uber and bolt.
You may still hold on and observe though.

Like here in PH... I don't just stress myself so much...i just go to Board of internal revenue area, meet one of the ladies beckoning on me for document renewal... I just tell them what I want and they get on with it. Papers are ready after 2 -3 days.
Depends on what you want, weda original original, original fake, oluwale... Na dat one go determine the Benjamin.

Uber go hear am. I see them reducing their commission soon.
This was what we were talking weeks ago. If one platform goes, another comes, drivers go always dey okay and make their money because any platform that doesn't favour drivers will be abandoned by the drivers and can't work without drivers which inherently means it dies in no time

Let's observe 1min silence for taxify (bolt) cos opay on boarding is their funeral.

My view
Taxify (bolt) shitty app, no good customer service,
Driver is not important to them all they care about is riders
If opay can do a good job in these areas taxify (bolt) is good as dead.

On the other hand

Uber
With opay on boarding and their incentive on riders, uber will be comatose for a while cos opay go take all the customer. Uber been uber will come back strong after opay has exhaust all its resources.

At the end of the day it will be uber vs o'car cos taxify(bolt) will go 6fit just like gokada and maxOkada

So, they will use their money to pay the drivers and service the cars because I don't see how they will pay drivers or service cars from the #200 charge.

These guys aren't serious. The way drivers go abuse their cars in few months, dem go fear.

So it means drivers that tries remit 30k weekly will need to renegotiate

There might not be problem if their fares are fair enough for drivers to make his on money and since Opay will complete the fair for the drivers for whatever discount given to the riders

Heard the advert today on radio. Opay is bad News for all. They are coming to take a huge chunk of the market shares, brand new cars, cheaper fares. Guys, brace yourself up for a tougher 2020. I know eventually Opay Cars will fall by the way side as greed and business do not mix.

For me, It's becoming clearer that this ehailing thing is never a place to invest ones whole life and money on. You gotta learn how to diversify in order not to be met with surprises. Opay is here to further mess things up.

The ehail business as a service has been commoditized..

the driver is king, bae, and bride.Ocar's entry has defeated some peeps arguement here about drivers relevance in the hailing business.nobody is going to dobale for any taxi park chairman. It's our time.na uber, bolt and Ocar go dey toast us. Congratulations guys,we won grin

I think it's time Ehailing gets a union, to make drivers relevance and opinions stronger. We are stakeholders in this venture and should be heard.
