The k5 pro is a better device, only thing to pick from the Redmi 8 is battery, design and miui.

I pity those who listen to charlatans like that. Many times you hear people say, "You don't need to know much when buying a phone", or, "Why are Xiaomi users condemning some particular brands?". Simple reasons, actually. When you see someone spend over 70000naira to purchase a Helio P22 device, and the person is grinning from ear to ear; as an informed phone user, first you feel pity for the person, then you feel anger towards those snake-oil marketers who deceived the buyer. When there are solid SOCs like the Helio P60, P70, and P90, why in the world would I spend so much for a Helio P22? And they even claim their devices are cheap? What a rip-off.

DISCLAIMER: Please feel free to purchase whatever phone brand you like. It's your money, your choice. However, I will not celebrate mediocrity, neither will I condone deceitfulness.

Very Solid and principled stand point Sir. Its totally true the deception and perpetual dishing out of mediocre phones. When there are better products out there. Transsion devices are gladly feasting on the non awareness of vast number of the Nigerian population. Until recently the first thing most Nigerians will look at is camera , size and battery life. Screen quality didn't really matter and that's why Samsung was condemned for too expensive screens. Now with Xiaomi and the rest being a far better option. Trust the market to reset itself after a while

There is probably no content update on the present page. I use the same browser now and the refresh feature works well. Infact, you can make one of the navigation buttons below to serve the purpose of refreshing when you long press it. To do this, find your way to Settings - General - Gestures; from there you should see options for each button.
There is also the pull to refresh option.
It works bro.... Thanks.

How do i activate it

It's just there, no need for activation . It wont stop your phone from being stolen. But it will surely make tracking the device easier and faster. Because you can even call and it will ring out loud. And Data too cant be put off whilst locked. So if you had data on before it was taken .Track my device can be used to locate it. Etc.

Google really tried for SOS function

Check again because it do activate itself sometimes. Otherwise your WiFi bar from your chart won't be blue

I observed Xender is the major culprit why the WiFi scanning auto reactivates. It's best to check on it after using Xender

That app is becoming notorious nowadays. I had to go look for the old flashare some weeks ago. I installed it on all my devices. It's now very complex to use Xender...

I did everything you instructed but I can't open the phone without happy Sunday
Gptech:

Try as much as you can to avoid tapping your power button, this helps to extend its life span. To do this, enable 'double tap' to wake, then go to settings - Additional settings - buttons and gesture shortcut, then change 'turn off screen' to ' long press the home button'. Also, enable quick ball, select shortcut, and enable one of the short cuts as ' long press the power button'. That way, you only need to touch your power button only if phone somehow turns off, or you want to enter either recovery or fastboot mode.
