Well said, if you meet an entrepreneur someone that built is business from scratch( a real C student, the left brain folks, not the analytical, Am perfectionist kind of people, the these is how it's done so therefore you must follow same procedure) they will see all these you just mentioned. You see must of the companies we apply to the interview are most done by an employee- if you know what i mean.

Also A cv and cover letter is your sells letter, your sells representative that you sent out to sell you. So it's your duty to know how to take the job you did and what you feel you learnt and present to the employer in such a way that it will look like you bringing value to the table.

You see we offering a service(driving on uber) we do customer service, customer relation, procurement, maintainance, partners relation, delivery, book keeping, budgeting, etc

The first two is grouped under emotional intelligence so if I decide to add that to my cv, I will write extensively about how these two has helped me develop my emotional intelligence and Interpersonal and intrapersonal skill.

For those interested

I'm sorry but this seems suspect to me. You should never have to pay someone to get a job. Also, highly targeted for "Nigerian men". Why would Abu Dhabi need to outsource this?

Not necessarily. I refused any kind of assistance from my family for ten years even though I could have had anything I wanted. At one point I was even homeless for six months and never called home. I wanted to stand on my own two feet and the experience served me well.

God bless the pope

I remember when I said I don't use phone holders. Some said it was pride, but I had a feeling then that uber work go soon turn goldmine

As you get familiar with routes, don't hang phones. When you start a trip, scroll through the map to know the suggested route, and keep your phone. If anyone stops you, tell them that you aren't an uber driver. Simple.

Na corolla people dey at risk sha. Every corolla is a potential suspect grin
I saw them at eko hotel roundabout yesterday, my rider sat beside me so they were confused. The guy was looking at me I no even shake. Sometimes they read your face if they notice fear they will stop you. They ended up stopping the car behind the one beside me

Here is what the owner of the corrola 2004 that I discussed about said.

He wants to give the car for hire purchase @1.8m but wants me to pay within a year with no upfront payment. I told him the most I can do is a year and six months so I won't default.
He said I should pray about it and get back to him asap.

Left to me I know it's something I really don't want to bother myself with but then again, I still want the house to advice.

I know it might seem like "this guy no dey hear word" but I like to hear from different people so I can make my decisions. Please guys help me in making the right decision.

By the way, I have been activated on Ocar and was called yesterday to come for training somewhere in ikeja. But I am not assure ill be in attendance because I am cash stuck at the moment.

Thanks all.

I also didn't send my car picture to him but the guy just asked me which vehicle will I be using I told him and immediately he activated me, sent the app download link and voila I was on opay and ready to accept trips.

It will help if we can see more pictures so we can guess the overall state of the car. But the best you should do is get a trusted engineer to check the car out for you; and that includes a VIN check.

If the engineer marks the car okay, #1.8m hire purchase is a steal, but you would need about 18 months to pay for the car. I would advice you go for it. But please, let an engineer check the car out first.

I use to think like this, until I met an expatriate supervisor dt was about to retire and we got talking about his two sons and his own mother dt just died.
The gist is dt his mum left him a house and plenty money in her Account but unfortunately he has suffered and made money too, paid of his mortgage house and all already, Be4 d mum died.
So he decided to divide his own money into two gave it to one son to pay off his mortgage in U.K. & 2nd to start life, Dt he doesn't want his sons to struggle to pay mortgage and when he dies they will realize how much he has in his will for them.

So my take , if u have a family member (parents/elder) dt u can climb on their shoulder to rise higher and faster in life. why suffer ?
If ur family can give u loan and u pay back without interest why go to banks/interest.

Not talking about lazy people or spoilt children dt won't work again

Christmas Bonanza!!!

In the spirit of Christmas, I'll be doing comprehensive insurance @ 1.5% of car value with a well-known insurance company.

This will be for a limited period. It starts from December 21st. Contact me for more details. 0708-884-6626. For Vehicles in Lagos only.

N.B: You know if you're driving without your vehicle comprehensively insured, you're doing yourself a lot of disservice, especially in a place like Lagos.
Why are you hiding the name of the well-known insurance company? The name alone can further boost people's interest in your offer
