Sincerely no solution. I had same trouble and nothing helped. I didn't have the energy to fight the guy who sold it to me on this forum.

The only solution is to return phone and get another replacement. I couldn't because my A3 pro was bought from a Nairalander, and camera didn't work since day one.

I'd just have to say that errors exist in 1 out of a 100 or 1000 phones. Some you can fix and others, you might not be. But look for the common issues and see if it's a thing you'd fault the seller or the manufacturer. Sometimes, being a seller is not easy. Especially on cases such as this.

The phone came with Android 9 and It was ordered through Jumia. Luckily for me, I experienced this error on Day 6 after purchase and have requested for a return. No time. After that, I won't go near this brand again nor even view this thread. I will have to borrow money or wait and save to get Xiaomi or Lenovo or other reliable or reputable Chinese brands.

As I'm speaking with you, my fingerprint sensor doesn't work. This happened when I repaired my phone screen. During the first boot after repair, the phone didn't come up so he had to remove the battery and fix it back. Then the phone came up but then my face unlock option and fingerprint security option went missing.
During upgrading to Android 9. I can't tell what I did. But the face unlock option came up but the fingerprint option is still at large.

Now irrespective of this, I understand what I actually gain from using the device. Believe me it's too notch.
You can choose whatever phone but don't condemn the brand.

Anyways, I'm leaving UMigidi for LeEco. It's because I find LeEco Le Pro 3 x720 to be better than UMigidi A5 Pro. I wanted getting A5 Pro but a better option was the x720.
