You are correct.! Also confirmed. I was more comfy when it was earlier deleted despite the fact that the tweet had already left a digital foot print. I suppose that the NNPC legal team which the GMD had recently praised for saving the corporation billions of Naira by settling out of court various litigation issues will surely find a way around this supposedly “dead” case of age discrimination even though there is some level of substance in the case !
It shall end in praise anyway!

I had to take it up on myself to confirm everything here on Nairaland... I know nobody, but through a friend i was able to reach a boss in the tower..

Here is the Bad News... NNPC is still withheld by the court, according to Boss, They are doing everything possible to settle this on a low key.

APL Date is definitely not certain.

Then he went ahead to assure me that the board is working on making sure that new intakes will resume by 13th of Jan 2020, that all hands are on deck to see that come December APL will be released.

From our discussion i was able to deduce that most people who haven't been paid are I.T people and few Engineers too.. i guess they should be Happy I want us to confirm this here please those that haven't be paid please lets know your field

Also some state where not complete... Niger, Jigawa, Kebbi, Borno, Zamfara and Gombe... if you come from any of this state lucky are you.

My advice is that, we all dust our files and stay off drugs for the time being (if you're into it).. APL is ready for disbursement and it will drop tomorrow.. Shey we all like lies ..

Person will drop legit info, some people will use everything within their means to discredit it just because they felt it does not go down well with them. The fact is we do no have control over the situation in the Towers and other supervening events like the pending court case and the recently resolved contract staff situation.

Whilst we all expect the APL to drop anytime soon (either next week or next year), I'll advice that nobody should think he/she has monopoly of bad mouth. Some of us just had to keep mute because of home training .. In the hindsight, nobody should expect a reply or response from me. You tag me at your own peril..

Honestly! Real bespoke slowspoke! Nonsense...didn't take NNPC to court all these years o!

I hear is the same radical human right lawyer that prosecuted the Busola Dakolo rape allegation case against popular COZA pastor - Biodun Fatoyinbo. Case was thrown out and Busola was fined by the Judge for wasting courts time despite obvious public outcry against the man even by prominent persons.

Who knows? Same fate my befall him and his age discrimination case even though like i said earlier he does have some technicality on his side. (That is where NNPC goofed. They should have opened the portal for everyone while staying silent on age limit but relying more on qaulification. The would have included a calender option for applicants to select date of birth. At the point of shortlisting internally, the system will just auto-weed off candidate above the age barrier- a simple backend code will just do this because easily over 50million applications would have been received at close of application date ( if it was even true that with the age limit place they still received 25million entries!). At that point you will need to invoke the Freedom of Information act to get NNPC to explain how they shortlisted only 60,000+ people for CBT stage. We all learn everyday and im sure NNPC or any other such public agency will never make that mistake again!

I know one moroon will say im saying all the above because it favours me! But truly which serious world class organization undertakes a recruitment programme without setting entry criteria inclusive of age limit to ensure it can attract young, healthy and agile minds to its workforce.

sorry just a quick question o...the salary for ss6 there is it the same salary as the newly approved wage scale for nnpc also....abi is ss6 in pppra and ss6 in Nnpc different..??

NNPC, PPPRA and DPR have the same Salary scale. What you see there might be the reviewed salary scale
