He isn't very talented but you can't fault this.
Truly, I can't fault that, but are these what arsenal team will miss from him? I doubt it.
I remember Sanchez having those 2 attributes, but what endear him to fans was the skills accompanied with those. He knows how to pass, score and all that. Having those 2 ONLY will not secure you a spot in first eleven in any top club if we're sincere.

But I never thought it's gonna be today, I pity the man, wenger was given 20 years but failed and Emery just too years, life isn't fair

Lol...
Bro, can you compare Wenger's starts as an arsenal manager to Emery? Sometimes let us don't type illogically. You think if he had a campaign like Emery, he'll last over up to 20yrs?
And who told you Wenger failed.
Na wa o!!

Abeg what is guen's greatest attribute that we would miss if he goes like 2-3 weeks injury?
cheesy tongue
Guen is not Arsenal's problem, there are many who'll go on long injuries we won't miss..

There are some players though very few who are good and very important to the progress of this team, they are about 3/4..Guen may not fall here..

There are some whom if well managed can be an important figure asap or in the nearest future.. Guen and most of the young players fall here..

There are some who are not worthy to play for us nor be patient with for any future plans..Guen does not fall here also.

I dey always respect your views but you ef up by sounding like "them". embarassed

Bro that era don go, Most fans supported and hoped Emery will do well, but he disappointed big time and there were no signs of any betterment from the last regime.

The good thing is, I trust fans to agree unanimously on what to do on any manager or player who isn't worthy to be here.

Thank you. That's where I place guendouzi too. If he's managed the way willock is managed, I'm so no one will complain. You couldn't even mention any of his strength sef lol.
I don't mind him coming from bench or starting some few games, but being a guaranteed starter for a club as arsenal without any obvious great quality is what I'm against from beginning. I mean he's no fabregas-like in terms of quality(in terms of starting at a young age).
And no way am I saying he's arsenal problem. Na Emery create that problem, cos most people knows here that he's limited, sure no be him fault say emery dey start am(That's why I can't be against him or loathe him). With a fully fit squad, to be sincere, I don't expect him to start so we'll see how it goes sha

Teams nowadays can't withstand pressure, so managers keep getting sacked, I bet you to bring up Emery games stats in comparison to wenger first 18 months in charge of arsenal, how many years wenger did before he began to achieve, don't deceive yourself
in Wenger 1st season, he finished top 3. In his 2nd season, I think he carried the league. Emery fell short of those 2 category. So weda pressure or no pressure, if Emery had just made top4 last season and he's dragging for top4 this season (not league win o), he wouldn't have been sacked.
If you had brought fergie sef, the comparison would have made sense. But not Pa Wenger in his start of his arsenal career which was his prime sef

The thing is Guen impressed in his first 2 biggest games of his career, Man city / Chelsea and everyone was convinced he shouldn't go into the reserves and be should be part of the team or be allowed to compete for first team..

He made Xhaka look like a waste of buy and rendered Elneny useless,

it was for the management to ease him, play matured sensible players around him and not put pressure on him, even at that, the boy was always going to put the best he can.

This is England where the games come fast and thick, players here are strong, aggressive and rough, we play 4 competitions and have no festival break...

Should Gurndozi or Torreira who are new and young to the league be allowed to go through that rigorous games..

You're right, in an ideal midfield, where we have an Ndidi or Partey, he shouldn't be in the first team.

Arsenal fans adored Sanchez for one reason. His fighting spirit. How he chases after a ball even when he loses it. How he tracks his man back until he succeeds in winning back the ball. How he won't rest until we get our goal.

Bros, Ozil was more skillful than Sanchez, but his poor demeanor killed him with fans.
Fighting spirit is what most fans love in Martinelli.
Fighting spirit can be a deciding factor to make the first team.

Fighting spirit and confidence are not Guens only attributes, but what fans will miss him for according to your question. Let's stick to what you asked please.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: Finally Reborn! The Red & White Army: FA CUP Champions 2020 by Spy360(m): 1:26pm On Nov 29, 2019
Most times we confuse being talented and being effective.

Guendouzi will not be a Fabregas, he shouldn't even be a first team player at Arsenal. But he is the most effective we have so far. Due mainly to the poor performances of other top players and the clubs mistake of not getting a proper DM. He is doing his best as a youngster. It may not be enough but surely its better than what others are offering the club right now.

I think he jokes most of the time, he is only frustrated of the woes at Arsenal in recent years, wants success and ready to transfer his aggression to whoever he feels..

I sincerely hope we get Allegri. 5 Serie A and 4 Copa Italia nd 2 CL FInals!! WOW! That's even better than i thought. I know he actually came into a AC Milan Team that was dead and made them competitive again before he left for Juve where he became a beast.

Fingers crossed that the board makes this one count.

I think you're sticking away from what I asked not the other way round.
When we talk about attributes of a footballer, we talk of finishing, passes, tackles, interception, good crossing, dribble etc. Fighting spirit and confidence isn't an attribute of a footballer( tho I won't deny it's needed in football presently). So, arsenal won't miss him, if doesn't have any outstanding attribute. He doesn't give key passes, he doesn't score, he doesn't assist, he's not good aerially, he's not an effective tackler nor a good interceptor. He's not good at shielding defence nor even reading of the game. So you feel with these limitations, just fighting spirit and confidence (which isn't attribute sef) will what will mk arsenal as a team miss him, then I don't know what to say. All these hardwork without result will take a club no where.
Sanchez tracking of back and fighting spirit always yield out result, same as martinelli. I feel if martinelli is given the type of chance guen is having, perhaps we'll have more points than what we currently have.
Everyone knows ozil needs a good DM to shine and that's why he shone the season we had cazorla and coquelin as our two base players

Well bro, your points are valid. Tho I'm not advocating he goes to reserve or under23. I just feel he should be in d bench or be coming as Sub just like the way their toreira is this season. With that he can grow in pace. That's my only issue here and nothing more

There is no assurance Emery win 5/6 of these games and this is based off what we have seen thus far. He may not even see out the 6 games if results from the first 3/4 don’t go accordingly.
I was worried this is what the board will do. Even though I would have loved to hear them say he is fired, I am glad they have reacted to the noise/ heat from the fans about Emery, rather than pretend everything is fine. I hope the fans continue to be open about the situation and stay away from games to force a decision.

Emery needs to go now, plain and simple!!!!!

But u clearly did same picking on the Niles red card when that was not the main point of my post earlier.

Arsenal's defense is not the worst in the league. Watford, Norwich, Southampton, even Newcastle have worse defense. Guess what? Newcastle won against them. U may want to argue Newcastle was at home, but Arsenal both home and away have been playing this cowardly or rather conservative approach that has been drab and almost costing us.

In fact the Aston Villa narrow escape was due to the players like Guen and Auba stepping up and taking responsibility when it matters most.

Arsenal getting scrappy win will not always work when we meet a decent team with a tactical coach.

The crux of this whole discuss is the fact that Emery has not done anything this season to show he's a tactical genius that some people here would have us believe.

I'm not a fan that will pray and hope his team lose so he can say; "I told u so, our coach no Sabi work ", but Emery will sure get fans irked any day his so called "grinding out result" pattern backfires.

This post was made 7th October. Solo told us to calm down its only game week 8. Baba said his reasons for playing the drab pattern he plays is justifiable.

Well after week 13 Oluaye Good Ebening has been asked to go. Some of us actually knew it will end in tears for him but the optimistic ones never believed.
