Nope. This isn't recent news. I've known Birds of Prey to be R rated. A bit unsure of Suicide Squad 2021, but rumor Mill was heading for R rating even before Joker hit $500mn.

Separate Universe for Gritty stories like Joker for Lesser known characters or characters not in plans for DCEU main continuity in the nearest future. eg. BoP was already in Post production during Joker debut. Another Possible R rating in DCEU main continuity is Black Adam!! I'm hoping for that one.

Parasite (2019) 8/10

I hardly watch Korean movies such as this for two reasons.

1. I watch Japanese movies already. It is like a superior brand of Asian tv. It is like Nollywood and Ghollywood.

2. I mostly only watch korean horror/grit movies.



But Parasite was a great movie. It was funny and I like that it kept the plot believable as there were consequences for actions.


And truly, many Nigerians are like the parasite family in the movie- employ them and they will take advantage of your generosity. Eg stealing office WIFI to download movies, doing backhanded deals with your clients etc.

in a hypothetical scenario Lionheart had made it to that Oscar Norm, it wouldn't have had a sniff chance in hell to win with Parasite in that category.

Nah I don't think The Question will be better than any Batman Family related movie box office wise. Their huge popularity and familiarity is way outta Question's League. Especially Deathstroke and NightWing, they are the most loved characters asides Joker and Harley.

True, Red Hood is the Darkest but Deathstroke got some good dose of it too.

Don't know if They still plan on releasing Blue Beetle and Plastic Man films, but they are at Least in development. It's uncertain considering WB got a new CEO recently Ann Sarnoff and other executive shakeup. But in the nearest future up till 2022/23 I don't see Blue Beetle or Plastic Man in the movie slate.

Batgirl and /or NightWing might be getting their standalone soon enough.

Joker is the most stupidest and most annoying movie I have ever seen. Boring piece of shit all through. The character got no charisma at all. The dude was behaving like a fool all through. I wonder the hype.
