See ehn if you call me a marketer then you're really not serious, check and go through my post on nairaland, I use a Samsung , and I've never owned but only bought Xiaomi for my relatives.
Should I call you a marketer because you want to buy a phone? Over and over the heating issue which is your fear has been debunked.
My dear , you said you have 100k to buy phone which is good enough, enter any shop and get yourself a Samsung or any of the transsion devices if that will make you feel better. If you really need the realme X pro you can enter the Xiaomi thread store and find out for yourself who the marketers truly are so you don't look silly next time just labelling anyone a marketer.
Ask @noobody @protein0 macbeyland they can assist you with landing the realme if that's your first choice , cheers

You made a bold statement and if you can't call out names to back it up, if it is not cowardice I don't know what else to call it.
He's calling you and I marketers.

I was even surprised he mentioned me, a quick check would have made him more informed

This thread was created way back before Xiaomi came this year, just a tiny research would make you know that it's made up of people trying to render free assistance to others in need. After all most of the assistance rendered here, people are paying for it.

You guys should continue the good work and don't be deterred by a few unscrupulous people. I don't even seek help for any of my Samsung issues on Nairaland

Actually, I don't have issues with him personally. It is his misinformation and outright lies I and most people on this thread have issues with. Plus how he feels on top of the world when he makes them.

It's evident that he enjoys it and why is that? - it's because of the attention he gets. Those that give him attention actually knows that's what he enjoys but they do that because his misinformation will cost lots of newbies valuable knowledge.

Aside him, who else gets the kinds of bashing he gets on this thread and Nairaland as a whole? Kindly point to one person. That's because he has serious issues. Big one.
Lol. Well noted. Thank you your magnanimous time.. Let us give him one last chance.

Since I upgraded my RN8 to MIUI 11, the battery life drain faster. Does any other person experience this? angry angry
olayinkajnr:

I don't use RN8 but my experience with MIUI 11 on Redmi 7 is quite different.

While I can't deny that you have issues with yours, it is known that any major updates usually have one or two issues like you are experiencing.

After a major update, it's advisable to be patient for your device to optimize itself. When it comes to battery, that will definitely optimize itself after a round of 4-5 charge.

Also disable wifi and Bluetooth scanning. Also change the sim you ain't using to browse to 2g mode.
I experienced same briefly after I updated to the last version on MIUI 10 (which I am stil on), but deliberately didn't complain here. After like 3-4 days, the battery consumption normalised.

A lot of people are coming from phones that barely or never brought updates, and when it did it usually ended up making their phones unusable.
I believe that scare still affects a host of them. For every update I've done since galaxy S3, I've always experienced a period of underperformance from my battery and also phone. Most times I download the entire OS and update my phone via PC, but at some point it gets tiring. Even Google's pixels experience bugs after updating

Story like this is why Threads like this exist, we don't need to argue to prove a point about a phone to ourselves.
Twerk it, Root it, break it,bash it.
My God it's a just a frigging phone,nothing more
Enjoy your device my man
