komekn: Was he also a Manchester city player when he played at the U17? He's been playing for Nigeria from U13. He was built from the scratch with tax payers money. Man city only modified him, after all he wasn't a striker when he joined man city. Kelechi Promise Iheanacho is one of our own and we are always very happy when our products deliver. It's not sentiments or bias. You don't expect us react the same way when someone we've known from his U13 days scores with how we react when someone we have to check google to confirm his eligibility scores. Same way you're so filled with joy when Tammy scores compared to when Osimhen scores. 15 Likes 1 Share

Blueelf: What you saw yesterday is not guess work. It is something worked on repeatedly in training. What Kolo did was tell Rodgers it was time for the switch. The preparation was down to Rodgers and shows he rates Nacho. Finito. |

zuchyblink: that's why they could not qualify for CHAN & WAFU nahhh.. the best home based players are in the academies... the best for the NPFL right now...is to dismantle the league... young players from academies should be infused, salaries should be raised and paid promptly...and the clubs should be reduced even if it is only 10 clubs.... fine.. better to have only 10 clubs in the NPFL...clubs that can pay their players... and put forward a better management for football progress in the country |

but but according to your logic if you are doing it in a bigger league you can't be compared to someone playing in a far less inferior league. abi isn't that the crux of your argument where Sadiq Umar is concerned? Bros Komekn i would suggest you choose a hustle and stick to it cos the number of times you change opinion on an issue depending on who is involved surpasses that of a faulty NEPA switch komekn: 1 Like 1 Share |

tbaba1234: He messed up on the first goal but you and other posters are not being fair on him. Enyimba was awful in the match. They failed to register shots on their opponent’s goal. Afelokhai was the reason Enyimba didn’t concede up to 6 goals. Did you not see his point blank saves? 1 Like |

he's definitely ripe for an invite. i share your fears and concerns that his performance could be a result of facing lesser quality defenders in the dutch league compared to the top five leagues. However his consistency over the past couple of years should have the national team handlers interested in seeing him up close especially at a time the search for a quality back up or competition for Osimhen is still on charlesemeka85: |

Victor Moses continues to disappoint the coach of Fenerbahce, Ersun Yanal amid speculation linking the former Nigeria international with a return to Chelsea next month. The right winger has now gone five games without scoring or providing an assist after firing blanks in Fenerbahce's 2-2 draw with Goztepe. A top source in Turkey told allnigeriasoccer.com : ''To sum up, Moses is a total disappointment indeed because the coach of Fenerbahce wanted a goalscoring winger but Moses was absent from the starting line-up for so many matches and when he's in he could not score any goal.'' Moses was deployed at right back during the closing minutes of Saturday's match at the Bornova Stadium after Luiz Gustavo was sent off for a second bookable offense. ''Ozan is normally a box-to-box midfielder, this is his best position and Fenerbahce play better when he is in midfield. ''When Gustavo was sent off, Ozan went to midfield and Moses replaced him at right back for the last part of the game,'' he added. In the second half of the 2018-2019 season, Moses netted 4 goals in 16 appearances across all competitions for the Yellow Canaries. |

Really happy for KC. After a lot of on field off field disappointments I'm glad he has started to show the kind of form that attracted him to the Man city hierarchy. Still needs game time and consistent quality performances before a return to the Super Eagles is suggested but based on yesterday's display he's not far off. Yes like Tbaba said he should perish the thought of going to Turkey at least for now. he has shown he can still cut it in the EPL hopefully this busy xmas schedule will see him get good game time to further cement his place in Brendan Rodgers team. I also agree with what one poster said that the way it's going Ndidi might be in the running to be named Leicester city's player of the season. pray he continues to stay fit and in form |

I am happy that the love for Nacho still remains here. He needs to keep it up before he can be considered for the National team so that a wrong message is not sent to other players. The goal he scored was sweet sha o. Correct placing!!! Leave Komekn alone o, he has his own opinion and bias just like we all do. We shall continue to praise Nacho when he does well and scold him if he does bad. He still has a long way to go. |

I have said it many times. Iheanacho is a false 9. His pattern is like messi, dybala or firmino. You play him with a striker and give him the chance to roam in midfield and attack. It is not his fault his coaches dont appreciate his style of play. Ok is firmino a striker or midfielder. He needs someoqne that understands and beleives in him AT HIS BEST HE IS A UNIQUE PLAYER |

Philosopher1979: About him not being a 9, that is absolutely true. However in a team that relies on heavy passing of balls to team mates, he could thrive as a 9. Leicester city, prior to the arrival of Brendan Rodgers have never been known to play balls on the ground. The philosophy has always been "huff the ball in the air and hope that Vardy latches on to score...." On the other hand, Iheanacho needs to work on his ability to be able to function as a 9! At least he is working on the use of his right foot. If he can work harder at being a winger, it can be a plus as he wont be ignored. Congrats to him once again! |
