This would have been the second best flick in the Rambo franchise after First blood, being that it had a somewhat emotional story to tell unlike the others.
The story was quite strong but cliché all the same, the story seemed like The Taken & Man On Fire , all rolled up into one. The movie also seemed to stray from the original formula used by it's predecessors, as the action scenes had just 30mins of runtime (fine by me though), character development for other characters asides Rambo's was pretty poor, acting was good, so was directing. All in all, it was an entertaining watch.
John Rambo is just something else, he makes killing look like a work of art.

I actually believe if they had added more action time it would have been better.

Kinda hoped he would decimate those Mexicans in the forest but wasn't really surprise where it happened.

The dialogue is on point, acting is okay (especially the display of lack of emotion on Rambo's face when he meant business) gun scene not bad but what blew me away was the way he killed that Mexican dude in the end.

I mean, Joker is a small boy compare to John Rambo. Yet nobody complained about John Rambo but we no hear word for Joker.

Superman is a problematic character. He is just too overpowered.

He cant fight human criminals like batman.
His powers are very destructive and so big budgets are needed for his movies.
He is also a goody-two-shoes and so, one cannot truly make a dark movie for him

I will replace that with WB. They seriously messed up Superman that any new movie will have to be almost perfect to appease fans and attract casual moviegoers. Man of Steel was controversial amongst fans and casual moviegoers. BvS was ultra divisive, and Josstice League was the last straw that broke the Camels back.

Imagine the Justice League being useless against Steppenwolf only for Superman to come back and make mince meat of him singlehandedly!! That was annoying. With powerful characters like Wonder Woman, Flash and Aquaman made stupid. Only Cyborg alone sef will give him a tough time.

That's why DC is confused on how best to portray him in the next live action movie. Anyhoo we are probably getting a Superman movie around 2023/24, that's a given.

Which streaming service? Anyway, I think the Percy Jackson series will better be told in animation than live action, cos I don't think any streaming service will chuck out the funds required for the CG rendering.

My brother, anyone who says the violence in the Joker movie is much, is honestly not being true to themselves. John Rambo's violence makes Jokers' look like child's play. WTF! Breaking/tearing apart a man's rib cage, and reaching for his heart with ones hand. Damnit, that's some fvcked up sh.it right there. In fact when it comes to creative violent killings, John Rambo tops the chart, even John Wick got nothing on him, talk more of the Joker.

As in ehn. Even in the previous Rambo movie, the way he eliminated that general in the end is something else. John Rambo is a very crude killing machine.

I'm yet to see any movie character who kill the way and manner John Rambo kill. The guy really no get Joy at all.

I predict around $800mn - $1.3bn if it's good. There's little to no excitement and anticipation to this sequel after more than a decade. It's faded in history of pop culture influencing flicks, in this Age of Marvel, DC, GoT, Disney-Pixar, Illumination etc.

To even make it past a billion dollars will be tough sef. Depending on the first trailer (s) and audience response the predictions might change. Even at that surpassing $1.5bn ? I don't see it.

For Disney though it's near impossible judging from the sheer mass IP they've acquired. Disney= Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, now Fox. All can't just be bad all at once. It's highly improbable!!!

From next year and 2021-22 we'll see how they hold up since the competition are launching their biggest guns onwards. This year had no such such presence, hence Mouse house dominance.

Well, I can't say it's uncalled for. Fans need it, want it, love it. It has been screamed for by fans since after Ironman 2. Fans had wanted her Solo a long time ago, but Disney were too scared to greenlight it since female solo Superheroine movies at the time were ultimate flops.

DC's Wonder Woman proved to everyone Female Solos are profitable so now Marvel joining the bandwagon ASAP not to be outdone or miss out on sweet cash!!! Evident in the needless release of Captain Marvel.
If they could release a solo for a hated comic character comics wise and live action (Brie Larsson), why won't they produce a Solo for a loved character and popular Scar Jo name.

Scar Jo is the main propellant for this movie nothing else, cos she's loved by everyone ever since showing up in the MCU.

Besides it's more or less a prequel. Events before Endgame.
