I am no big fan of Akpom, but he can sure be an option...

Akpom To Join West Ham in January

According to The Athletic , West Ham are said to have already made contact with Greek side PAOK over a potential deal for front man Chuba Akpom, who started his career at Arsenal.

It is believed the east London club were keen to bring Akpom in last summer, but in the end a deal failed to materialise.

While he was tempted to move in the summer, Akpom first wanted to see if PAOK qualified for the Champions League.

But they failed to make the cut having been dealt a difficult qualifier against last season’s semi-finalists Ajax, who beat them 5-4 on aggregate in two close-run legs.

French outfits Reims and Nice also hold strong interest in the player, while Bundesliga side Cologne are said to be considering a move.

Yet Akpom’s preference is to seal a return to England, meaning West Ham are in the driving seat in the race for his signature once the January transfer window opens.

I can see you are feeling Dessers now. I remembered once making a case for the lad but you and Charlesemeka85 were all up on my case saying I only wanted him with the SE because of his skin tone.

That lad is a goal poacher, he was having a bad time at Utrecht because the team didn't need him but with the little chances he had, he manages to put himself into reckoning.

U just judged urself using the bolded. So it would have been wise to invite him then ahead of players having better performances than him right?

Bro, this would be a much bigger shock than Modric winning it. At least, Modric literally singlehandedly carried his team to the World Cup finals, along with winning the UCL. That's huge. VVD hasn't done anything close to that.

In fact, this wouldn't even be a contest if not for all the Cristiano Ronaldo's fanboys in the media who are hell-bent on making sure that Messi doesn't win it. Hence, they jumped onto the VVD bandwagon. To me, it's anybody but Messi grin

my point is chuba akpom is not needed near the eagles... Finish...

He is not a prolific scorer, nor a great dribbler, we have trickery and skills in kalu and chuks, we have a potent strike force with osihmen, what's does he brings to the table? Azin wetin he fit do? Remember say onyekuru still dey outside...

At least we dey see dessers, we dey see stats, eze, etc, nobody dey talk about chuba here... Abi no be that arsenal boy for that time?
