komekn: Bros, you don't even know when to humbly accept an argument when it's obvious that you've lost that argument. So Nacho is now English trained? I guess he was at city when he won the U17 world cup. Or city came to his village in Owerri to scout him. You are just behaving like a nonentity all over the thread (I'm not sorry to say it), no wonder people don't rate you on this thread, and everybody's always taking a piss at you at every opportunity. You can't win every battle/argument, sometimes you just have to concede defeat. Making false claims during argument that you could have easily avoided is just making you look like a fool. Bro , calm your tits down. Haba 10 Likes 1 Share |

Nigerian youngster Samuel Chukwueze has missed out on the Kopa 2019 Trophy, awarded to the best player under the age of 21 by France Football. At the annual Ballon d'Or ceremony held at at the Theatre du Chatelet, Paris on Monday night, Juventus central defender Matthijs de Ligt won the coveted prize now in its second edition. A Netherlands international, de Ligt takes over from PSG superstar Kylian Mbappé as the winner of Kopa Trophy. Chukwueze was on a ten-man shortlist along with Matthijs de Ligt, Jadon Sancho (Borussia Dortmund), Kai Havertz (Bayer Leverkusen), Lee Kang-in (Valencia), Joao Felix (Atletico Madrid), Vinicius Junior (Real Madrid), Mattéo Guendouzi (Arsenal), Moise Kean (Everton), and Andreï Lounine (Real Valladolid). The Diamond Academy product broke into the Villarreal first team last season and helped them avoid relegation by scoring 5 goals in 26 appearances in La Liga. Chukwueze represented Nigeria at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations and became the youngest player to score in the competition after finding the net against South Africa. The Kopa Trophy was named after Raymond Kopa, who was the first French footballer to win the Golden Ball. |

Just like Mikel was back in 2013. The APOTY goes to Mane. Salah will be second. Mahrez can make do with third but people forget Ziyech. Blueelf: 1 Like |

Perhaps, one of you have dropped this already.... Heenreveen Coach On Ejuke: "I was surprised he didn’t get call up to main team of Nigeria. You have to ask the coach why because he did enough to get a look in. "However we rejected the chance for him to join U23.He'll no doubt become a senior international in nearest future." 4 Likes 3 Shares

chrisooblog: This is DESPERATE DECEPTION some have descended to the bottom of the burned pot to scrape carbon. Please contend with me on substance and not with infantile misrepresentations. You posted a screen shot but intentionally omitted the date of the post. Thats intent to mislead and essential fraud. As we say in football the HERE and NOW. You have sorely DISSAPOINTMENT ME l expected much more from you as an Elder here. When a text is taken out of context it becomes a CON. Context is very much time linked. I stand 100% with my view point at that time. That time was over two seasons ago. When Victor was essentially an academy player at Wolfsburg doing NUTTIN. At that same time l said Chuba Akpom, Tomori Fikayo, Josh Maja and Eberechi Eze were not good enough for the SE. And the latter two unjustified in thier invitation to the SE. For those of you blinded with negative bias and prejudice. All the players above are what many of you class here as FB. In your attempts to create the principles of tribalism in exclusion of players because they were not born in Nigerian and therefore less NIGERIAN. They same criticism given to those players l.gave to Osimhen. And it seems he took my advice. And the COMPLETELY DELUSIONAL HATE MISINFORMATION TAG that l hate all players born in Nigeria and like those born in Europe is a nonsensical proposition with zero substance. I have said upteen times here, a season is a long time in football and two is history and three is for the archives. Two seasons ago did anybody believe that Tomori would be a first team player for Chelsea and playing for England ❓ . But that's happened essentially in one good season. Or that Eberechi Eze would be the best player in the Championship ❓ Or that Josh would be the hottest striker in league one ❓ And to think Blueelf announced that we've got him almost with euphoric celebrations simply DELUSIONAL.. That moniker blueeelf has too much excess negative prejudice based baggage to be new here. 3 Likes |

Samuel Chukwueze, Kopa Trophy Top 10 finalist, speaks on Chelsea transfer links and his future.. “I was supporting Chelsea. I used to support every team that featured a Nigerian. So my love for Chelsea then was because of Mikel. I am not going to Chelsea because I am a Villarreal player and need to get my confidence more. For now, I am a Villarreal player" “Maybe in the future, a movement is possible but right now my attention is on Villarreal. I want to focus well on my club and gain more confidence. Maybe when the time is ripe, I can move.” 2 Likes 1 Share |

He did very well emerging among the Best/Top 10 U-21 Talents in world football. But I think he ought to have finished higher than 9th place in the overall ratings. In the end, 9th best U-21 player on the planet according to France Football is some fine achievement indeed. Keep working those socks off young Chuks. charlesemeka85: 3 Likes |

Blueelf: Do you understand the word polarized and biased. The very allegation you make you are the chief protagonist of double standard and bigotry. I don't create an exclusive standard for a player because he is Nigerian therefore his case is different. It's one standard for all players. Oh but when KC comes along it is a different standard there are multiple Nigerian players doing good things in thier league. But l don't see anybody celebrating one goal in a a whole year in their league as if he has just won the Bal on Dor. That's just blatant favoritism and double standard. 1 Like |

Interviewer: "Did you hear of the likes of Amesimaka, Odegbami, Edobor...?" Chukwueze: "I did not hear of all those ones, I don’t know them *laughs*...dem never born me that time..." Icon79: Two different clubs with different standards and expectations. You can not compare the two. Atsu is an African player who hasn't done much in quite a few seasons in Newcastle was literally benched at Everton. But has been given a lot of time infact too much time and he still isn't that great. KC has had 50 games in the EPL for Leicester and he hasn't performed. That's the cold hard truth there are no excuses or special considerations because he is KC from Nigeria. Now you probably call that view biased prejudiced and unbalanced. Just call a spade a spade. He had a good game yesterday is it enough not yet. But he's got a chance to make a claim. But please remove the idea that he's not been given chances or not treated fairly he has had too many. This is the EPL you don't get many chances. 1 Like |

timay: I guess ignorance is bliss. You jumped in without any context of where this particular discourse started from. I didn't say English trained you did. What l said by FIFA rules he is classed as a homegrown player of Manchester city. Is that too much for you to comprehend. ❓ If yes then l can speak another language that will help your comprehension. |

SerVik: Yes, l have. But the operative word used maybe you did not see it is RUMOURED. How many of our players are rumoured not too long ago it was Simon Moses going to Liverpool. In my experience when it's getting close to January don't take newspaper reports too seriously. I have also used the media to put reports about a player it's all part of the game. January is next month. Lille can not afford to loose Osimhen if he goes thier season is literally over. Unless someone pays crazy money like £50 million plus or thereabouts. Lille will not sell him. In the Summer a very big probable yes. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Danielnino00: Can you please screenshot with the date. Otherwise it's an infantile and very desperate attempt to MISLEAD and MISREPRESENT. As you know without context the text is without substance and in context is has an intrinsic link to Time. Remember the phrase " At that time " qualifies a statement it's relevance and substance. U have exposed your Desperate Dan attempt on a faceless forum to misrepresent the facts. If you know shame I shame for you. You Fall my hand Chei which kind school you go, or you passed through without the school passing through you. I expected more from you this is so elementary school mentality.
