He doesn't fit the young, british talent recruitment plan, and if there was an exception, it'll most likely be Bruno Fernandes or a striker.

That "young British talent" strategy will only lead us back to square one

The previous strategy of world-beaters hasn't worked either...

You read the ESPN article, right?

Regardless, the club really needs a DoF.

what midfield improvements have you noticed exactly?

McTom obviously is improving and Fred can prove us wrong.

The way they play now (the duo) is different from the way they played last season. Pogba is our laziest midfielder- the other two work hard. Unfortunately Pogba is also the one with the most quality.

We still need midfield signings though.

Definitely, we just need to keep Pogba in a midfield 3 and that should hopefully bring the best out of him before he leaves for Madrid. None of the midfield 2 or number 10 nonsense.

it's a game that may see us feature Pogba-Fred-McT midfield. if that happens, it a W.
How fit is Paul? I don't think he has played any reserve game to bring him up to speed. He'll likely come from the bench.

Solskjær on Rashford: "He is doing that [consistently scoring] at the moment and how he didn’t get the goal against Villa is beyond me. He’s consistent now, scoring 10 in the last 11 or whatever but it’s not like four in one and two or three without."

Who is this Dejan Kulusevski I am hearing we are after?

Afrodoc2, Oasis007, Leyqute, Larride and others. I hear he is just 19 and plays for Parma.

I don’t know him.

Just watched his clips. Left footed RWF without much pace. Even his YouTube highlights are not impressive.

Never heard of him.

Looks like he has a decent left foot and has good vision to pick out team mates in tight positions.

He plays in the Serie A though and YouTube videos can be deceiving.

True, I didn't see enough videos of him in tight spaces to know how comfortable he is with the ball.

He has got an eye for the pass tho.

As a RWF he does not have enough pace for me.
Eye for a pass is one thing but in the EPL you need to be able to dribble and outrun quick full backs. If you doubt me ask Juan Mata.

Away from this prospect, did you see Dan James take defenders on against Tottenham?

Do you have any hope for this boy?

I think he still hasn’t perfected his decision making and he kinda rushes his chances. But looks like he could be a decent player for us.

As a RWF he is currently at squad player level for a top team. Should not be a starter for us but he has shown improvement in terms of him running at defenders and trying to deliver good quality low balls across the box.
As a LWF he would most likely always be poor though. He is just not skilled enough.

P.S His work rate is 1000%.

Yup. Hardly saw him against park the bus teams too. Any player can be good when it’s 3 vs 2 or 2 vs 1.

I can’t really pass judgment until I see him in a full match.

The problem is that he can turn into a totally different player in another environment. A player Oxygen will be cursing every match day.

Even Fred has stepped up. He is now looking like a 30m player instead of a free transfer, though it took almost 18 months.

If we are to do anything this season McTom-Fred base in midfield would be important with McTom being the key.
If an inspired and fit Pogba joins them we might have an outside shot at top 4.

From what I read, he can play as CAM too. That's where I'd consider him.

We definitely have that opportunity. I am hearing Chelsea's transfer ban has been lifted, if so, they'll likely strengthen in January.

I think that news is more of a curse than a blessing for Chelsea - unless they know how to go about it and dont destabilize the cohesiveness of their current team.

This is his first Serie A season, he is averaging less than 28 passes per game, less than 80% pass accuracy and 1 through pass every 10 games according to whoscored.
If Ed Wayward replaces Pogba with this guy at CAM Fenibeso and Sopona hybrid thunder will strike him.

There is NOTHING special in his stats or highlights. He can try again when he is more mature in 4 years time and is exceptional in a particular position, not hearsay that he can play this or that role.

There are rumours flying around that pogba is not injured. He is being kept for a january transfer. With the way things are looking, I am beginning to believe that rumour. Which kind of injury does he have that refuses to heal?
