Collected my Umidigi A5 pro from Jumia on 18th November... just last Saturday after receiving calls, phone went dead. I thought it was battery but connecting charger didn't solve the problem... tried other chargers, phone didn't come up on... as in phone just packed up... called jumia only to be told I can't return cos its more than the 7days return window but I should visit a 3rd party service center in Lagos... Gave a technician whom said I need to replace the board. Guys anyone with similar experience but was able to solve the issue?

I will appreciate suggestions or referral on where to change main board

Did d technician open d fone?
If no, pls connect to pc via usb to see if u can hear a connection sound.

Umidigi is near stock android and doesn't use a launcher, they have a very thinned down UI which gets the job done. A lot of us actually use third party apps, so look around play store and see what suits ur taste.






I just love the guest mode................feature in it


thought it was part of the launcher

First the umidigi F2 is in presale so no one has gotten it here esp in Nigeria.

Secondly, who complained of umidigi products from Jumia having faults ABI u won start ur own?

If u're interested in getting a device pls go ahead and get one of ur choice, every device has it's ups and downs but that's why threads like this exist to solve them if and when they arise.

The phone is okay, let me say above average for it's price. 4gb ram, 32gb rom. The battery is good also. It gets fully charged within 2hrs and some minutes and it doesn't drain quick. Though the camera is not that good,they could have done better. The design is superb. The phone is very okay for it's price sha.
