benji93:Unless they are deliberately tanking which will make perfect sense. Other than that I would not compare him to say a Spoelstra who was previously loaded with Stars but still kept the Heat competitive with an average borderline G-League roster as well. 5-20 is just too poor a record 1 Like |

A40: Oh please, can you not see that the warriors are record chasers? they went 73-9 and now they're going to go 9-73. They set the record in Ws, now they're about to set the record in L's. Strive for greatness. |

steady986: Loool...There is literally no pressure on KD to win a Ring hence why He is taking His time to make sure He is fully recovered before coming back. Now imagine He had won ZeroTitles before that Injury? Dude must be giggling from ear to ear for making that smart move. |
Re: The NBA Begins by chic2pimp(m): 10:14pm On Dec 10, 2019 |
SmooshCHN: An NBA career is an extremely short one. Blink for a sec and it's all over so you have to make the best of it(Take the Best decision you deem fit for yourself and your career). Teams would trade you as soon as soon as your value falls so all that Loyalty poppycocks Fans expect from players does not move me one bit. 2 Likes |

chic2pimp: How is it that people get off on telling someone else what to do with their career. Those complaining about KD leaving should just get over it, whether you liked it or not it's his life not yours. So get over it already |
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 1:31am On Dec 11, 2019 |
Khanben: Nobody is complaining about KD. Just calling a spade a spade, if you're an NBA player and you do something that affects the league you should be damn sure people are going to have something to say about it. KD can do whatever he wants, just turns out what he did was weak and always will be. I'll tell my grand kids about how weak KDs move was. If this was his personal life then you can tell people its his life but this is something that has to do with basketball so that its his life nonsense doesnt even begin to apply. Every sports fan is entitled to an opinion on it and its my opinion and that of the overwhelming majority that his move was the weakest move in NBA history. Again, nothing is ever going to change that. |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 1:45am On Dec 11, 2019 |
chic2pimp:Lmao, you literally said he's taking his time because there's no pressure? Come on man, you can do better. He has an Achilles injury, he'll definitely take his time. |

KarnBarlow: But when the Normad left Cleveland to form an assembly with 2 other perennial All Stars, not forgetting integral pieces like R. Allen on his way to consecutive finals appearances and his first title, he did not reset the league? KD was not a passerby with the Warriors, no one in that team or roster can beat their chest and say KD did not earn his ring! He was the reason they won back to back and they even dared a triple!! 3 Likes 1 Share |

Lool both players took shortcuts to rings. If you want to debate the morality by all means have at it but don't tell me 3 All-star lottery picks in their respective primes forming to join a team did not disrupt the league and tilt the competitive balance 1 Like |

This Ben Simmons ninja really is just a tall Lonzo Ball, some got carried away by his performance the other day but in tight games the real Ben Simmons will always show himself. What kind of player that calls himself a PG hide in half court late in games. Refuses to shoot or take over. Dude was guarded by Gary Harris lol 1 Like |

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 6:55am On Dec 11, 2019 |
Roland17: Its not about joining up with all stars. No one is slating KD for joining up with Kyrie now. He could've joined up with all stars anywhere but he literally made the worst move possible, took the easiest path. Not only joining the best team in the league but a team he blew a 3-1 lead to literally a few months before. Its the classic "you can't beat them you join them" kind of move. It was embarrassing, shameful, hes never going to outrun that. As far as earning a ring, i wonder what stopped him from earning one the season before when he went 3-1 up against them. Point is he was a luxury on that team, he didn't really earn sh-t.

Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:46am On Dec 11, 2019 |
chic2pimp:Sports and sport stars are there for us to analyse and scrutinize. It won't be fun if we all just shut up and watched them play the game. We know he already has 2 championship and 2 finals MVP, we can't take that away from him, but we have a right to analyse the value of those titles. It's not as if it's only the fans that are criticizing him, virtually every basketball pundit has had a negative say about his move. That's what it is bro, it's the game. |
Re: The NBA Begins by donlittle25: 11:03am On Dec 11, 2019 |
steady986:I am.convinced you are trying to miss the point. If KD doesn't have two final MVPs right now, two rings, he would be rushing to get back into the game, doing everything he can quickly because he knows his time is going and younger and more hungrier players will keep coming up. But ofc, that isn't the case, he has two rings, finals mvp, and has such, there is no pressure for him to come back soon. He will come back when he is 100% 3 Likes 1 Share |

Forget KD. Move on with life. He made his choice. It really unnecessary to talk about this. Be happy with the Lakers. Davis might just get his free ring. KarnBarlow: |
