ajoks533:There is no way the driver will know it's a card trip if he didn't start the trip, but then he was supposed to ask you on phone if it's card. I do that especially on Mondays and Tuesdays, so he wasn't playing any fast one on you. Bolt should be blamed here, assuming they convert these app payments the next day or allow driver the option of cashing out maybe we won't be having dramas like this. Opay credit the driver's account the next morning, why can't the other apps do so too? 4 Likes 1 Share |

Gentlelife50:You’re right on point, these riders always think they’re Kong’s at all times... on a Monday morning and maybe that was his first trip and he needs some money to probably buy some fuel for his day work. The driver was even kind enough self to even give him 4h as refund me I won’t do it. Funny thing is, bolt will not credit you any money below 2k but own you till the next week till it’s above 2k yet they will block you if you own them above 2k. It’s annoying I must say. For me though, I don’t border if it’s card or cash, after all, you need the card to pay off for commission so why reject it after all 3 Likes |

The guy starts all his rambling, the other guy don already enter my car, before he finish I just ask for him I.D card, one showed me the other didn't, na so me sef flash I.D card, the guy said "eyan wa ni....." , say anything u get make I help, Las las I give them N150. So guys always be careful. I have moved out of there sha, to park in a street. |

mazinaija: I appreciate the heads up baba but need i say, you guys that ventured into Uber/taxify during Ambode's regime were the most fortunate ones . I understand that tough skin does this job but you folks had less evils to deal with. The hustle is a better alternative to my former 50k job because there are weeks i did 28k after fuel and commission with minimal efforts but i've had tough luck with the car and road warders. 1 Like |

Gentlelife50: Well, was almost midday sha... And he actually came to drop someone off. Anyways, I understand his excuse for refusing card trip... But accepting a trip and canceling it on the basis that it's a card trip and on a bonus is cunning. Why not ask first and then politely ask the rider to cancel, or better still do the trip as its just a short one. 1 Like |

Felicity001: Riders forming Kongs? Coming from a one time rider or still a rider abi. See bah, what is not right is not right and should be condemned. Am aspiring to be a driver soon and have learnt alot from the experiences shared here by drivers and riders alike. This is something I wouldn't want to do to any rider and won't want that to happen to me. If I wasn't paying attention, got a prompt debit alert and understood the workings of the system, he would have just smiled as he left the scene abi. Now na you come dey form Kong ni... Why would you take money without rendering the service you accepted to render, just cos it's a card trip and the rider is on bonus? Then still dey claim alaye unto the person money. Boss no reason am ooo, cos you fit buy big market with refusal to refund. Carry am go Sharia court sef, na chopping off of hand you go get. Let's just learn to be careful sha and do the right thing. If you don't want a card trip cos of reasons best known to you, I believe it's best to ask the rider first, cos no be everybody dey carry money for hand dey Waka about. I moved round Lagos for 3 days without a dime on me from 8am to say 7pm and always on the road through out those hours. Now, what would you call a driver who accepted a request, then immediately clicked on arrived, after calling me and confirming my location? Probably he was far from me. 4 Likes |

Prince3:Take a deep breath little man. The frustration appears real. Do not make threats that you will not be able to stomach when the chips are down, Mr. Keyboard Warrior. Don't deliberately put yourself in a fix. Judging from the tone of your text, you and I shouldn't even be having a conversation. Have a great day. Not gonna respond anymore to you, just not worth it. |

Prince3: Prince3, please enough of these jabs abeg. I'm the one who shared the bad experience of a rider stealing my money and ndubuis was trying to justify why he would never leave a passenger in his car, he's entitled to his opinion, we all are. The same way i let it slide when Tyche said i was careless as if i envisaged such incident. We are all to share our experiences, learn from mistakes, crack jokes and have a good laugh about ourselves not some condescending talks some fellas are spewing. Let peace reign! We're all brothers on this thread irrespective of how long we've been on the street trying to make some bread. 9 Likes 1 Share |

Freshprince91:. Hmmmm... I commend you for this. I really didn't feel like working yesterday, so I stopped by at the Courts in Ikeja to do some things, later on I sha enter one court room to witness a proceeding, before then I saw able bodied men being brought in from Prison on trial, and what one lawyer related to me humbled me, that's why I said earlier in one of my post that if you go out and come back safely everyday, kneel down and thank your God. All this i will "show you who I am.." etc. just save the energy for something more profitable. Brain is better than brawns, anyday anytime 20 Likes 1 Share |

1daboi:Okay brother. The context at which I made my point is quite clear for folks out there that can comprehend. That said, I got my beliefs, you got yours. You won, regardless. I have been home this week, no work, no uber, dislocated shoulder from working out. Don't even have strength for a fight as it is. The least I need here is an additional strain. Lol. Stick to your beliefs, while I stick with mine. We are all in the same struggles, one way or another. No need for a needless argument. Cheers. 3 Likes |

Hello people in the house. I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask this kind of question. Can someone get a Uber trip from the Lagos Muritala airport if the flight land in Nigeria by let’s say 3:00am in the morning? I read something online that the airport authorities barred Uber drivers from the airport so I’m confused about that. |
