That's my major challenge now. I had the plans of moving to lagos but, I don't really have close relatives there I can relate with well. I'll try see if i can make a way sha. Thanks man.

I'll sure give your first options a try. The year is already up and most of those schools are on vacation. I'll just wait till January.

I have gone to almost all the companies in warri submitting cv. Most of the security guys will tell me they can't collect my cv, that i must know someone that works there to help me.

Everyday i sit at home thinking While everyone leaves the compound. I just losing it as days passes by.

Any type of help will be highly appreciated. I just need somewhere to start off and gain experience, even if it's a very little pay, I'll accept.

I am from Warri and I can tell you Jobs in Warri are given via community slot or through knowing someone. It was frustrating for me too after my NYSC in 2018. But I would advice you look outside Warri and apply in other state and if interview comes go and you will get the job. That helped me I learn a skill in tech and now am working in another state.

If you can raise between 70k to 100k, you can get a room self contain in some areas in Ikorodu, Lagos, and possibly some other low brow areas in Lagos. You should also plan for at least 2months feeding till you find your feet.

Ikorodu is different from Ikorodu. He may get houses for that price in places like Imota, Ewuelepe, Agbowa, and will have to travel hours daily when going to the Mainland or Island. At that rate, he will end up in debt as a result of spending all his income on transportation.
I'll advise he looks towards other low brow areas in Lagos.

My advice for you.

I was in Benin in 2018 after NYSC, when I received job mails from Jobguru and Hotnigerian Jobs for opportunities, I traveled to Lagos, took the dragnet test, interviews and was given an offer. I live in Lagos now and got my first job without knowing anyone.

Register for these job platforms and peruse these opportunities daily, polish your C.V (showing previous responsibilities and achievements)

Be ruthless in your job search, get dragnet past questions and be focused.

You will pull through man, just be deliberate!

I was just browsing today about the chances of one without connect to get this NNPC Job. During my search, I saw the 2011/2012 niajaland thread 'Your interview experience (GT and EH)' which is around 30 pages. I quickly skimmed through pages 1 to 23 until Apl calls started rolling in. Though the main platform then was NHJ but I realised most successful applicants studied engineering and some in finance related courses. I am really worried coz on that thread only one IT GT got in.

What is the fate of an IT GT in this recruitment?

I knw a frd we both did our Msc together is the US with very strong connect. I was shocked when he told he already had his Apl long b4 the interview started and he has been told to report back in December.

Lets all stop spreading annoying theories and just pray to God for grace because naija tire me.
