I have done that. Even cleared data, e still no show. I tried something. Went to move a pix a friend sent to me from "private" folder to the general "WhatsApp image folder". Image was visible in gallery, but when I when to check the pix in the chat, it was gone. I can't be duplicating my pix for the sake of satisfying both requirement. The pix I sent however after snapping with camera on WhatsApp, we're visible in gallery. It's wasn't like this in pref versions.
Are you using v8. 12 or 8.15?

8.12

Click on the picture in the chat, tap the 3 dots at upper right corner and select "view in gallery". Or check the pix below by tapping on any contact

[quote author=kallmemrB post=84886912] go check old gcams..there ones that work on 32bits

From XDA
Friend, you dont need 64-bit OS to run Gcam, it can work well on 32-bit OS, just need some tweaks.
Here is my modified version to work with Redmi 7A Global Version, it stable and improves camera quality a lot over the stock app it also include Slow-Motion mode and EIS for Video Recording.
.
Here is free link to download: https://www.mediafire.com/file/ks3bhbq03hhd7f3/Gcam_port_Redmi_7A_by_DuLe.rar/file
Password for archive is: Xx_DuLe_xX_Car
Enjoy it.

you are. You can also register on the Russian forum and test them all. Maybe you will prefer a different version.

http://www.mediafire.com/file/73uol7...6P_v1.apk/file << GCam_3.1.025_SerJo87_nullpoints_maxbuff_N6P_v1.apk
http://www.mediafire.com/file/0l6l9a...ont64.apk/file << Gcam3.2_f3.4_v3_x0.6-s_A_X_v0.3_front64.apk

When you launch the app for first time, enter to settings and forceclose the app.

Wow. Thanks a lot for this cuz I actually thought gcam can't work on my redmi 7a. So I downloaded the first link through opera mini please how do I get it to open.

Check for apps that are on autostart and disable them.

I suggest you do a factory reset and install the ROM Manually again

that's too slow..... How long is the normal charging then....

Even redmi 8 normal charging for full battery is around that.. I can't imagine how quick it would be on 18W charger

1:35mins is slow. Last I know the Mi 9 Pro with 40W charges fully just under an hour(48Mins) to be exact.

Normal charge is 2hrs 15mins i.e 10W charging on the RN5.

QC only works at peak between 0-80% then slow charges from there not to spoil battery.

Your should read about quick charge and understand the concept more

well you may be right tho... My battery is 5k and I get full battery less than 2hrs with 10w charger.. That's why I said slow... Concept of quick charge is paper talks.. Am talking of firsthand review

This screenshots were taken not quite long ago. So it's totally misleading.

Otherwise one will be tempted to ask why your screen was on/awake for so long at night or while it's charging

Even an 18W charger will struggle to fill up a 5000mAh battery in 2hrs and you are claiming "your" Redmi 8 with 5000mAh battery gets filled up less than 2hrs with a 10W charger.
That ain't possible here on earth and any other planet sir.
