Vicas2000:
Quick question....does a traveller needs to travel on the exact date that they filled on their application for the visa given and to the same destination?

i.e. Intended travel date filled in application 20th January 2020 to 3rd of March 2020 (flight from Lagos to Birmingham) while the actual travel date for flight ticket is 21st January 2020 to 6th of March 2020 (Lagos to Heathrow).

Reason: Ticket cheaper on those dates by £300 and is direct flight and less stress as traveller is an older person.

I hope this is not any big problem at point of entry. Any comment will be welcome.

Not a must as long you can defend it at the port of entry ...the reason why you can't make it at the scheduled date..reason for changing ur date of departure could be a family ,job, health reason..that's all

Gurus please i need your help or suggestions.
I did my biometrics on 11 of October and I’m still yet to get my passport back, although my application was processed by an agent and he said a decision has not been made yet and that he has written to them concerning it and hopefully before the end of next week we may get a reply as to why the delay...my question here is “is it possible to get a decision before Christmas holiday (because the agent said by 20th they would begin Christmas holiday). Thanks.
Is anyone experiencing the same issue as mine?

You're okay as long as tickets are valid[1quote author=Vicas2000 post=84936992]Quick question....does a traveller needs to travel on the exact date that they filled on their application for the visa given and to the same destination?

Ask your agent to give u your login details so you can track your application by yourself.

The "bolded" is not a bad idea since this is shared responsibility, but this is different from your earlier submission. My take is simple: No one should get carried away with the fact that their pastor recommended one "sister" in the church to help care for their kids while they are away, all in the name of been sistren in the church. All the evil of this world are now in/from religious places so one needs to be careful. By the way, you need to be "too careful" when it comes to people watching your kids. The professional caregivers are trained and licenced, hence, they lose it all if a case of abuse is filed against them. Most adults who suffer emotional/psychological imbalance today were abused as kids.
omopapa:
I bet you don’t knw how much these “professional caregivers” charge per hour. Obviously if you can afford it, why not, by all means but the person who posted the question is just settling in UK and needs support while she goes to work.

When it comes to people watching your kids you can’t be too careful even the professional ones have incidences. Some Nigerian families take turns to watch each other’s kids so the parents can work night shifts. It is certain that there will be instances where u need someone to watch your kids for few hours without having to pay professional caregiver so what do you do?

Dear all

Please I need help on a UK visit visa application I made for my aunt. I have filled the form, submitted and paid the $128 on the UK government visa. At the point of booking the appointment I was redirected to the website of tlscontact. I observed that the website came up with another 55pounds payment. I ensured I didn’t pick any of their services as I want to handle all the scanning and uploads by myself. I have checked through the TSL Contact website but there is no phone number to contact them. Please can somebody help out? Or am I to pay another 55pounds after paying the 128 dollars for the UK visit visa?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Healhtyliving: 12:11pm On Dec 16, 2019
I guess you have selected the VI application center if yes? The 55pounds is the center cost of using VI. If you change submission center to ikeja, the 55pounds will be removed

You can't change submission centre. If you need to change your submission centre, you will have to cancel your application.

Hello Gurus in the house,

My brother wants to come over for my graduation (Jan2020). Will it be ideal for him to use two account statements? I.e his corporate account and savings account. Again, his budget for the visit is £1000 (5 days visit). We don’t know if this amount will be considered insufficient or “not enough” for the visit.

Please help

The amount for the trip will be judged based on his income from his business and monthly disposable income. He will need to include to both accounts since he is a business person.

You can't change it. There's no room for such.

The only option is to cancel the application then start all over again

It depends. But usually within 3 or 6 months.

My friend collected his passport today. Unfortunately, he was denied. He wishes to apply immediately. Below is the refusal letter. Please, Gurus in the house, kindly advise on what he has to do to tackle this. Thank you.

I will advise him not to apply immediately. The refusal letter is self explanatory. The account balance is inconsistent with how he has been running the account.

He needs to address that first!

First of all, what's his salary and monthly disposable income? Kindly share if you have an idea because it will go a long way in helping to buttress on the reasons for refusal.

Do you know disposable income means the money left after monthly expenses? Monthly expenses- net income = disposable income. If you’re right then it’s not reasonable to go for vacation in the UK

The net salary and disposable income have been noted. You will have to also state the number of times net salary was paid into the account before the account statement was printed. Providing such information will enable me address the reasons for refusal to the best of my knowledge for a positive reapplication outcome. Furthermore, was 541,593.39NGN the opening balance on the account statement?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by FNRF: 6:12am On Dec 17, 2019
Good day everyone!

I am about to upload files on the TLS website, but my 6 months statements is voluminous.

I was wondering if I could just use three months statements (180pages +) and state in my cover letter the reason why I used a three months statement was because of the 6 months statements was over 400 pages.

Also, when going to the TLS would I have to go with all the applications I had submitted online as well?

Thank you.
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Success2011: 7:38am On Dec 17, 2019
541,593.39NGN was the opening balance. Salary deposits reflected 6 times in the printed account statement.

Going by the information you have provided, the closing balance on the statement you provided was not balanced. The account balance was supposed to be 1,921,593.40NGN if and only if no other money was paid into your account during the account building period. It clearly shows your living expenses wasn't as stated in the application. In my opinion, you can reapply and address it.
