How can you get to Windhoek level when roads in your most important locations is a mess...it should be impeccable to begin with...public transport should be improved and diversified...

Transportation system should be revamped...forget SA cities they are in another level, all they need is a few touching up and they would fully make it to world class level.atleat competing with Brazil and Argentina cities.....

He was right on money because we became on of first SSA country to budget without any aid in 2005 and we have been aid independent since then.Any aid that come is generally off books.We had IMF poking their pink noses in Kenya internal affairs in 90s and by turn of century we had moved from 50% aid dependant budget to 10% by 2002 and by 2005 to 0.001%.We are independent proud Africa nation that is showing the way to Ghanians.Rwandese are doing the same.It starts with paying taxes and building internal revenues enough to finance the budget..and of course having diversified economy that protect against commodity prices swings

Namibia and South Africa are on same level...those are proper middle class.Any east African knows Nairobi is the London of Africa.There is no city even close...in the region.Nairobi in 10 yrs will overtake Joburg.The challenge is already on....if we fix the housing and infrastructure deficit like we are doing..then Nairobi will emerge as Africa best city.We need 2m housing units built in next decade in the metro plus light rail and we will be there.
