Actually we were able to pull a call through to them on Thursday and the guy said no decisions has been made on it yet but he will put the file now and the consular will make a decision on it that day and it baffles us why a file will be abandoned for three months and what if we were not lucky with d call being picked... cos dey picked around 11:57 , jux 3 minutes to d time to lapse. |

I think you are most likely to get a decision nextweek. The problem is that a case officer was not assigned before, now that they have pushed your file, it wont take time.dont know why it is like that. Bodylanguage: |

They are simple questions like 1.Why are you in Ireland? 2. Do you have a friend or family living in Ireland? 3. Where will you be staying in Ireland ? 4. How long will you be staying in Ireland ? marrywasiu: |
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by BadSamaritan(m): 3:03am On Dec 23, 2019 |
marrywasiu: I will advice you to book your hotel accommodation and print out your booking confirmation before travelling, because, if you're a first time traveller, the immigration officer is certainly going to call the hotel at the port of entry to confirm that you actually intend to stay there during your stay. Whether you pay before before going or you pay when you get there depends on the hotel's policy (most hotels require you pay upfront). Re questions you'll be asked at the POE, they're not entirely different from what you filled in during your visa application, which was successful. So your best bet is to remember whatever you answered then. For example, don't say you have a friend who is schooling in Dublin while you filled that you don't know anyone in Ireland during your application. Hope you enjoy your stay here. |

Happy New Year House. I've been following this great thread silently. Please, I do have a concern and I need very experienced members to help me out. My situation: I was given a ONE YEAR ban some time ago at Heathrow Airport. SOLE REASON: DECEPTION... Truly, there were fake stamps in my international passport. My visa was canceled and returned to Nigeria. Now, the ban has EXPIRED. NOW, what are my chances of securing an Irish Tourist Visa? All documents are legitimately intact. Thank you in advance! |
