Multiple entry visas are usually only issued to an applicant who has shown a compliant travel history. Ireland can never grant you multiple entry visa if you don't previously had at least TWO previous visas. What i mean is "If you have had 2 previous Irish visas and have observed the conditions of these visas (e.g. you did not overstay or work illegally) you may apply for multiple entry".... Goodluck...
I visited Ireland last year, and on my visit my proposed itenary to the embassy was 8 days, but I spent 23 days..I am about to renew my visa, please can you tell me my chances of getting the visa again, and will they refuse me for overstaying my itenary? Pls kindly help me out

I don't think that should be a problem in as much as you did not overstay your Visa length...... I think Ireland normally issue 3months Visa, also how many days or moths was stamped at the POE?

Yeah, if you are lucky maybe within 16months
You have apply as a visitor than once here, you can just go to the Garda office and apply for Stamp 4.
Is your spouse Irish?

His spouse must not be Irish for him to get a stamp 4. If the Irish son is having an Irish passport, that's enough to get him a stamp 4 under the EU agreement known as Zambrano case. Remember not just Irish born child, but Irish child with passport.

The wait time is something else. We waited 16 months for join family visa and even had to do a DNA test for the whole family of 5 as requested by the embassy
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by Keralis: 6:00pm On Feb 07, 2021
Thank you @ expressbooking. The child has a passport. The application is already close to 2 years. The wait is serious. I booked a hotel as evidence of accommodation, hope that will suffice? I also could not get school transcripts but submitted term results...hope that is okay too? Now that they requested for additional documents, how much longer do you think the process will take?

I don’t know why you have to book an hotel, you are going to join your family and you should be staying at there’s ....what you only need is tenancy agreement from your family member in Ireland, are you in good terms with your woman?

@Fisherlala, the application is that of parents of Irish child with passport. It's not the join spouse application. There is nobody to join in Ireland.

Incorrect information...You don’t have the right to change your visitors visa to stamp 4.... No Garda will do that for you it’s against the law.
