Hello,
Seems like this thread is no longer active but I’ll be glad if someone can reply me or point where I could get answers

So I plan on processing Dublin tourist visa, I already have an agent ready to begin but the problem there is that I don’t have plans of coming back after the 90days been given
I plan on starting a life there, get a job and if possible further my education
Pls how possible is this
Don’t even try to apply if you won’t state or show evidence of coming back
They won’t even approve it for you
I have job here despite my job and evidences of coming back yet the refuse my visa and they said no evidence of coming back so Plss put genuine evidence of coming back even if u ain’t coming back thanks

First of all, and lets be clear - I am not a Visa Officer, nor do I know any Visa Officers in any Embassy. What I do know is people that work with me have savage trouble in getting the whole visa process right to UK, EU and Ireland even China and Japan. Also, and correct me if I am wrong, in the Irish, UK and other EU and US Embassies the Ambassador has nothing to with Visas - the visa office is staffed by Dept of Justice/State/Home Office Officials from their countries, whereas the Embassy is staffed by Foreign Office staff, who would find visa issuance beneath them. I can only assume that your petition, once it was seen as a visa matter was given to the appeals officer and he/she treated it as an appeal. I wouldn't think ambassadors would be bothered about individual visa cases, but I could be wrong. I have seen UK, Irish, EU and US visa refusal letters and the Irish and UK give proper reasons for refusal, ones that can be challenged on appeal. Maybe I'm an optimist but I would hope that VO's from all countries would be rules bound rather than opinion based

I do admire the advice you give and it has helped co-workers of mine in their applications
hello, which country can someone apply to if Ireland bans the person?

Hello, an agent got me a job in Ireland and work permit and has done the visa application set for biometrics this week. Please how do I know if the job is legit?

I think you are being scammed here. Start by contacting the supposed company in Ireland u are to work for and find out how true it is. The agent ought to share contract agreements with you. The agent will equally share the employment permit with you. Be careful about someone filling Irish visa application form for you, any lies or misrepresentation gets you a minimum 5 years ban.

Ask the agent to send you copy of the contract and employment permit, i will help you to go verify it with Department of Business, Enterprise and Innovation DBEI. That's the body responsible for issuance of employment permits here in Ireland

Pls do you think they take that ban so very serious??
Because they place a 5yrs ban on my visa application I don’t know why they don’t state why they placed it they only send me a copy of why my visa application was rejected because all my credentials are legit and intact
I submitted an appeal now it been 7weeks I’m still yet to see a reply from them on my appeal
My question is can I be given visa after placing a ban on my visa and after I submitted appeal?
Plss reply to this

If they find a valid reason to overturn your ban from the appeal, they would. But trust me its very rare

Good afternoon all
I have filled the online form but can't seem to GET HINT ON HOW TO MAKE VISA FEE PAYMENT as this is required for my form submission. It's just a TOURIST VISA APPLICATION. Can someone please enlighten me on this?
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by MaryAndrews: 8:23pm On Aug 17, 2022
I paid my visa fee at VFS.
I booked an appointment with VFS online and paid 29k for VFS service, then on VFS appointment day they collected the N27k visa fee and N4.5k courier charge (paid with POS) during the (rather long) submission process

HELP!!!

Please does anyone know how long it takes the Ireland embassy to return passports for visit visa after a decision has been taken?
A decision was taken on my visa application since the week of August 7th and I am yet to get my Passports

Thank you MaryAndrews
I have been able to confirm the payment will be done at the documents submission point

One more question, did you submit at the Lagos or Abuja Visa office?

Please has anyone here submitted an appeal for a visit visa?
1. How did you get your original documents back after sending them to the embassy?
2. After they requested for your passport, how did they send it back?
3. Did you have to pay for 2-way shipping/postage for both times (sending documents to and fro and sending passport to and fro)?

Hello,
Can Irish visit visa be rejected if biometrics and supporting documents were summited less that 6-8weeks? I mean, I applied online on the 7th of July, went to submit my documents on the 18th of July in Abuja. My proposed date of travel was 15th of August till 9th September. Considering the date has already passed. Do I still stand a chance of approval? I’m supposed to visit my fiancé (an Irish) who just had a back surgery.

I don’t think so. If you applied for multiple entries, I believe you have a chance of getting the visa.

Yes I did.

I called VFS, but they said they had not yet received my Passport.
I sent multiple emails to 3 different email addresses I got for the embassy and also submitted two enquiries on their website.
I did not get any replies other than the default generic email response, but I got my Passport after about 2 weeks.

One day, I just got a call from a dispatch rider who came to deliver my Passport and other documents.

No one here. Are people not applying for Irish visa anymore?
Re: *** General Irish VISIT/TOURIST VISA Enquiries *** by josephb(m): 9:41am On Sep 26, 2022
Hi,

What documents did your wife submit?

Is there an outcome yet?

Do they collect all documents together with passport on submission date?

Also do they consider other Visas to base their judgement?

Regards,

No word from them as of yet.

During the biometric, passports and all other documents will be collected from applicants.

I think it will benefit your visa application if you have visas in your passport or have traveled in the past, but I don't think they'll make their decision solely on your travel history because even the regular travelers start from somewhere at one point.
