Felicity001:let's gather and help a brother. About Hire purchase/ rental... I can't advice my enemy to go for hire purchase, the risk is not worth it, but with rental you have peace of mind, all you have to live with is just your conscience. |

pope191:All malam with him kettle. what works for me A may not work for Mr B but that doesn’t mean the subject is bad. It’s so unfortunate we find ourselves in an unfortunate country where our leaders have subjected everyone to severe poverty that individuals will have to be running business that organization or government are supposed to be running. In develop countries you don’t hear words like HP instead you hear things like “mortgage”, insurance”, and the rest”. May God help us. As for me I don’t think I can dedicate 18 to 24 months of my life trying to acquire an automobile property or a liability which may not one day or immediately get destroyed in an form of accident or even get stolen bearing in mind it’s just a side hustle. But as the country be na the future is very blind and uncertain even to a graduate with good grades so what do you expect of them especially when age is not i their favor let alone the man who couldn’t afford any form of education or skill and has family to feed. Woo na serious mara we dey for 9ja o May Johovah help us. 4 Likes |

Prince3: Jokes aside.... Running a fleet of cars for uber can be capital intensive.. Maintenance can take a chunk from the profit.. And type of cars do matter . My civic seems to be the best for the job .. And the Elantra is holding up well too. A lot of partners usually don't know what they are getting themselves into ... in their mind na just to give car and wait for weekly alert... It can be a tough business and sweet at the same time.. You just have to take the good with the bad |

izzou: Ha 2.5 million for a car that has been used under intense conditions in Nigeria. That’s a bottomless pit of repairs. If you ever manage to succeed and eventually pay off the car, then two things are involved it’s either you’re trying to sell it off to settle debt or you’re accumulating more debt to fix the car. It’s a terrible idea to go above 1.8M for a Nigerian used car on HP. Shey na naija people wey no get maintenance culture you wan collect HP of 2.5? I bind and cast village people! 1 Like |

Prince3: From my own experince yes .. The civic is very low maintenance compare to corolla and elantra . The suspension of civic last longer than elantra or corolla. You really have to abuse the civic to damage the suspension.. |

kodred: I think it's wiser to know the condition of a car, before concluding whether it goes for 1.8 million or #20 naira Gazzzzzzz made a thread on how he rebuilt a Honda accord. Take a look at the car and see if it won't pass for a Tokunboh. The engine was changed and all that. It's ridiculous concluding that a car is terrible because it's Nigerian used. The Toks you want to buy isn't new either. If the CONDITION of any car is assumed, it will probably end up a lemon Let him know the condition of the car. That's my point 1 Like |

AngryIgboMan: Like you said already, it all boils down to temperament (and ego). And even beyond the fact you're out there trying to make money, you can't afford to respond to every hostile/negative person with equal hostility because situations quickly escalate out of control. Nothing to prove on these streets bro, unless one is just transferring aggression/frustration on to other people, which is what the majority of Nigerians usually do. We can't all be mad at the same time. 3 Likes |

radautoworks: Good morning house... Please I need to ask, does being humble in rendering a service mean you should allow a customer render the space unusable for the next customer? I mean, these guys will eat and litter the whole place with food grease and crumbs. Imagine if after changing the diapers, the next rider comes in and is stained with baby poo. How you wan take keep mouth apologize to the rider. 1 Like |

ajoks533: Polite reasoning with riders, most time I tell rider that want me to use a bad road about his/her wish and the outcome... If u want me to use a bad road and damage my shocks, next time u enter a car with bad shocks don't complain, dis and dat, d ride price, d cost of shock, d understanding will all have to share. |
