We like to whine sha. If a model is flawed, engineering and even maths teaches us to fix the faux and not discard the idea. If transportation wasn't refined, Uber may never have been. We start becoming better when we improve on grey areas in entities not throw away tins due to perceived misgivings. This is exactly why too many great ideas are left to the informal sectors when we don't have minds to refine, improve and standardise them. It's a mental posture.

None. But I've chosen never to let those instant get-back alerts Nigerians raise when they approach issues on first hand chase me back

When I made my first break as a mn. I counted over 75 persons who saw me during practice said na lie e no go work. Till today, I'm still desperately sought in the field. If I had listened, I wouldn't have pressed forward.

I've embarked on numerous projects. It's because I don't allow all these our typical inhibitions get to me. Never.

I have never met anyone who has anything good to say after giving out a vehicle, keke or Okada for transport on HP. Never. They all come back with the same story, it's only profitable if you're riding/driving yourself

All the same, I'm giving him benefit of the doubt. It's why I'll like to have his feedback one year later. grin

I use robotic software (EA) and it has been very impressive, the daily return is low(around 10-20% monthly but it's consistent), it works only on brokers that allow pro-Cent account, not standard account so the risk is reduced. Also PAMM with authorised & regulated brokers is good with minimal risk

How do i go about this? I am okay with such ROI

New way to dysify,my friend just bought four okada for 1m at 250k per each and gave it out as insulment at 320k per one for 12 months do the remaining calculation

April this year i gave out 1.1m to somebody i wish i could help to be a man because of how he complains. Money was for Keke and registration. He is to pay 15% a year or 20% 18months or 30% 2years. Reason being i discontinue my investment and am running a bigger risk. He started paying in may, smooth and by sept about 300k got to me. October till date, almost nothing, just got 25k on Tuesday. I am even hardly around, thoughtbof getting it from him but since it was to help him and am not gonna use it. I allow him, the begging before now and the non payment is far apart, a deviation that am still trying to understand why men in transport see for cant be trusted. He is still humble but he got himself to a bind he wouldn't have if he didn't have my Keke. Imagine I depended on that as my biz and survival. Am not speaking for or against, am giving my ongoing circumstances.

Rules for man. And not otherwise. As long as they're no fixed rules, it can be anything. Dangote is starting with a massive refinery. I wonder if he wouldn't have set the bar lower if he listened to speculators.

Speculating is good but not entirely healthy. While it can be speculated to fail, it's a 50-50,it could suceed. More so, I'm a firm believer in experiences that people shouldn't hold back in life but launch as whatever gains or loss experienced also comes with exponential positive experiences that would have not been learnt if people withhold by " skepticism". So it can be four, it can be 40. As long as risk appetite accommodates complete loss while chasing green bars
And Dangote is going to give the refinery to me to run for him so that I can balance him. My friend the two scenarios are parallel lines jor angry

Hian. I like to retain my comments within the premise to avoid issues. However, you don't have his template and whatever template you're using to critic his business is subject to flaws. To accurately diagnose a concept, we should always hmwait out to get intricate details and operational concepts.

Anyways since it borders around the periphery of my business expertise, permit me to chip in a simple, chai how do I avoid this. I don't want wahala.

Most drivers that accept vehicles or motorcycles for transportation intend cheating the owners of such vehicle or motorcycles. Their daily operations, activities and stories are geared towards achieving their ulterior motive: cheating the owner.

To reduce incidents of this happening,
1. Favour hire purchase over rentals.
2. Let the hirer pay some deposit (10%) which forms part of the hire purchase sum before you hand over the vehicle to begin work.
3. Let the hirer provide 2 guarantors, one of which must be a Civil servant.
4. Make sure you don't buy what you can't track. Install a tracker but don't tell the driver. This is hard in keke and bikes.
5. Ensure comprehensive insurance but don't tell the driver.
6. Hire only to young guys without family obligations.

If you can get someone who can fulfil the above obligations, at least your headache would reduce.

If you can't ensure you satisfy the above, use your money and buy local chicken to eat. At least, it's better you eat your money than someone else eating it.

Early last year, I wanted to buy two cars for Uber business. I was kind of dragging my feet. While I was still thinking, my friend bought a corolla and gave to one guy to drive on Uber.

The guy remitted money for one month and stories started. My guy had to retrieve the car and sell.

I learned from him, shelved the idea and luckily, I just discovered this thread then. So I just dumped my money in Tbills with rest of mind.

This happened last year. I enjoyed up to 14.8% interest rate.

All my respective bills will mature on January 30. By then, I would decide on what to do.

That said, I would rather leave my money in my savings account and receive small interest than invest in Uber or Okada.

Quick one; Is there a dollar version of MMF?

Something with lower risk, shorter holding/lock down period and daily interest, but in dollar.

If you know any, please share.

* I’m not asking about Eurobond.

Thanks

Quite understandable, I'm about to invest in transportation, uber/mass transit, so i took some time off to practice what I'm about to delve into, it's been 3 weeks now driving on bolt my self, leave office by 2pm, do my adventures driving till 9pm, most times, 8/9k realized after fuel fee, so I'm trying to know the logics/ tactics behind this bizz, cos every bizz has its own, if you don't know the tricks well enough, you will be played. So far, still observing tho, but if a driver can't pay you 30k weekly, take back ur cash cow from him, i know of someone that has 12 cars in uber n not complaining, there must be ways he goes about it that prevents him being shoked. Let's get active, let's do business ( at least start with 10% of ur capitals in tbs, till tbs will be back to normal), let's smile to the bank.

Allow me highlight 12 Cars on Uber and no complains. I believe this settles whatever dispute that has been going on here, though I'm tempted to say I know a certain someone in Lekki with 30 on his game. Make I no talk the nay sayers will come and say I want to lure them to give me money
