Not really ass licking thing but I think I've got this calm nature n always ready to help out,n can be very tolerant but overall don't take shit, More so, nothing to lick in her ass, her two generation might not even worth me financially. I've encountered different rider shouting on me over the phone but when see me physically, will began to say sirs, because everything on me is a statement n even my look, just driving for adventure purpose n for the fact that I want to invest in this bizz, also I'm a very private person, from work to home kind ( cld b boring) ,while driving recently I realized I've not been to 70% of Lagos mass. This driving things kinda give me more exposures, get to meet different minds, rich but stingy ,poor but generous, anyways not many will be prone to dash me money after trip cos what they sense, but surprisingly, few will still dash me 200/500,I will say a big thank you then pay it forward. Imagine a rich man that never receive a gift, every one feels, he's rich n wouldn't need a gift, my wife bought some banana to gift him n he reciprocated by giving her huge funds to add to her bizz, the rich man wept n said nobody ever give me a gift, even my wife won't, this person in question is my co brother in law, I learnt a long time to live jejely n let others live.
good evening boss, pls I need ur help concerning this biz, I'm thinking of going into it in January, still confused on the car to buy(corolla, elantra), pls how best can u advice me more so is the biz still profitable this Days with alot of drivers on the platform. Thanks

Quick Question

We have Uber, Bolt and Opay as the three major ehailing companies in Lagos

But why does Opay demand more information to use their app?

Is it because they want to protect the driver, or is it much more than that?

Thank you, brother.
Where in Maryland precisely?

When you drop at Mobil station at maryland, cross over to opposite side at Oando station, follow that road in front of oando that leads to yaba and lagos island, after few mins, you see a big mall by your left, cross to other side via pedestrian bridge, as a good citizen, and enter the mall. Ask people how to get to Uber floor.

Good luck.

They might have surveyed and heard drivers' complaints about inadequate infos other platforms require for a rider to register.

I guess they are just going extramile to do what other platforms havent done to protect the drivers and hence attract more drives due to that.

Before Ocar came out, I've been reading on China, AI and the future of technology. And just recently, I'm starting to get convinced that these guys are up to something

One of the reasons of the US clamp down on Huawei was that they suspected the company was sharing data with the Chinese government.
And already, The Chinese president has said his country would be the AI giant of the world before 2025. And what's the major requirement for AI? DATA

I think these guys are up to something. Not just Nigeria, but China is trying to get Africa on its side when the Cold war starts

Sorry grin

As a would be Uber driver, he should use his Google map to locate it.

I kinda agree with Felicity001 about these ceaseless questions

OCar is part of an ecosystem (OPay). The more the valid information of users of an ecosystem there is, the more valuable the ecosystem is for the purpose(s) for which it was established because trust in the ecosystem will be high.

A good example of trusted and valuable ecosystems are PayPal and Amazon. My thoughts are that OPay is positioning to be a payments ecosystem. There is nothing you do that doesn't require a payment - go to work (OCar), visit the Supermarket one bus stop away (Scan QR), urgent meeting and need to beat traffic (ORide), hungry (OFood), broke (OLoan), rich and want to invest (OWealth), want to gift someone cash (Transfer); etc.

Actually, I read sometimes ago, just after the launch of Oride that Opay's original motive is their wallet to be the traditional payment system for many. With the launchings and introductions of various services and may more to come, with time, it will be hard not to see any ody not engaging the use of any of their services. This will definitely make the adoption of their wallet easy and encompasing.

Actually, it validates the point you made earlier about China wanting Africa under her wings when the Cold War starts. Getting Africa under China's wings is the general strategy.

OPay is one of the tactics to achieve that.

Very true.

OPay might get so valuable that it would begin buying up our traditional banks.

That scares me.
