Sounds like someone stringing a team along when he knew he had no intention of signing. Maybe he did screw the lakers on purpose afterall.
Nah man, he got ditched. Or we offered him our own terms and he bounced. Whichever way.

LOL Part ownership, guaranteed endorsement money, you think the clippers gave him all these things? you think he asked the clippers for all these things? he was being intentionally counter-intuitive with the lakers. Engaging them just enough to string them along while affording himself the time and liberty to pursue his preferred options. If he gets what he wants from other teams he does so while hindering the lakers prospects in free agency, if he ends up with the lakers then it would have been the best recourse for him given the salary cap. It was a win win for him. Its obvious at this point that the lakers were diddled. They were a fallback plan at best for whatever reason.

No matter though, he will pay for his treachery at the right time.

Jeff Green has been waived and the lakers are circling around, obviously Iggy is the preferred option the lakers need on the wing but if Jeff Green is the best they can get I'll take it. His form is epileptic and though he has size his defense isn't really outstanding. But hes a solid wing and one you can use on PG and Kawhi to some effect. Most of all, i will never forget what he did for the lebron and the cavs in game 7 vs boston at the garden without Kevin Love. He stepped up and put on a great performance and knocked down some big time shots. If Memphis maintain their stance on iggy, i'll take jeff green.

Other ideal options include Bogdan Bogdanovic, Davis Bertans, Robert Covington and Jae crowder.

Can't we use the word "injury" without adding "genuine" again. It looks like some people are haunted by their constant knock on the genuineness of injuries sustained by some other players.
Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 9:45am On Dec 24, 2019
So if someone questions the genuineness of something and you respond to that you're haunted? This weirdo and his gibberish again.

Re: The NBA Begins by Nobody: 12:31pm On Dec 24, 2019
After revisiting videos from the cavs 2018 playoff run especially the aforementioned game 7 vs the celtics, i realized how much i missed some of brons old teammates eg korver (even though he becomes useless in june). Also, the lakers have to go for Jeff Green. Given how kawhi bamboozled them, holding out for someone like Iggy isnt advisable, they don't have assets and they don't have the time because jeff green is solid and will get offers probably from the clippers as well.

By far my favorite game from 2018, i could barely even watch the first half, only conjured the courage to fully commit to watching the game by the 3rd quarter and what a game it was. Jeff Green in the absence of kevin love came through with 19 and 8. Was also one of the cavs most consistent players that year even surviving the trade deadline rapture. This was LeBrons last win during his reign as the beast in the east. Good times.

Clarkson to Utah is a shrewd move. There's still hope for Utah afterall.

Unless you didn’t watch lakers vs bucks

Don’t allow the final result to fool you

They killed the lakers

The difference was almost 30 at one point

That game killed my spirit

I have been running away from anything nba for days

I’m better now

When we come against top teams it’s not always easy, maybe bron will do wonders come playoffs but as it stands, any honest Lakers fan shouldn’t be bragging

What i've been saying all along. The lakers need some work. The roster is salvageable especially since your foundation is bron and AD. But Pelinka needs to play his cards right.

How do you have 17 touchdown reception and not make the ProBowl? Aaron Jones is 2nd in the league in TD behind McCaffery but somehow is not good enough for a pro bowl selection.

How dare you Stop being disrespectful to the GOAT! We are now tied with the 49ers for 1st place in the NFC. Besides, you can’t swap those positions.
Nobody wants to say it but I will, what exactly has Ezekiel Elliott done this season to get a pro bowl nod ahead of Jones?

I agree. The saving grace for the Lakers was moments of inspired defense. But there is a lot of work to be done. Father time has LeKing on his mind, I think its time for some load management

I hate to agree that he has not been spectacular but I am not going to agree based on a metric like the QBR. That being said he is still the baaaaaaaaad man who is has always been. As he ages and under a new coach he has transitioned into a system that reduces the load on him by making the running game an integral part of our offensive schemes.

QBR takes into account everything from completions to turnovers and how a QB impacts winning. IMO, I think it does a good job of depicting the overall impact of a QB and lmao...the GOAT is reduced to a game manager! His peak years?. Sheesh! Some of the highest of any QB, but I think he's past his prime

Did you say peak years? It’s nothing to be ashamed of for the GOAT because Father Time respects no one. He has put the work in and as he ages, the team has to be realistic with how much his body can take, so why not reduce the load? The GOAT has done everything there is to be done and achieved everything from multiple pro bowl nominations, Super Bowl mvp and the Super Bowl.. there is nothing left but you can not question his hunger.
Don’t forget, this is not a high power offense like a D. Brees enjoys with the Saints. I am mentioning Brees because he is the only QB in Rodgers age bracket that is still heavily involved in his offense. Brady now defers to Sony Michelle, it is natural and nothing bad..

yes, his peak years- 2010-2016. That period could stand up with any Qb in any era. He was surreal...passing rating of 122.5 in 2011 season and some of the throws he made? Smh. Am a fan, man. On that saint offense, "enjoys? Drew brees makes that offense what it is. see the spike in yards and ratings when Bridgewater played compared to brees. he is the offense! And michael thomas of course.

Think about this for a second. Gianni's made 5 three(career high), bench had 4 points because of poor shooting but also because no Kuzma. Do you see that same scenario happening in the next game against them?
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 12:44pm On Dec 25, 2019
The entire NBA fandom is attaching more importance to this game than the Lakers players and fans. Whatever happens in this game will have no effect whatsoever in the playoff matchup if they meet

Not a blowout like the Bucks against the Clippers though, and that’s a team that’s been together for a while, plus PG13 and Kawhi. How you guys manage to lose all sense of objectivity and hate on the Lakers/LeBron beats me.

Oh I see what you mean now and I agree with you in that. His peak years were some of the beat QB performances I have ever seen.

On Brees’, how can you compare Brees’s influence on the Saints offense to Bridgewater’s? The saints offense is still built around Drew unlike Rodger’s and Brady now. Bridgewater was clearly held back and limited to a game manager for the first 2 games before Payton opened the offensive play book for him.

Michael Thomas is the lynchpin but that offense boasts of other big cats like J. Cook, A. Kamara, TreQuan Smith, Ted Jr, these cats are not your average joes, they are no scrubs especially when they are playing at home. Now compare that depth in quality on offense to what the GOAT in GreenBay and LAMB in Foxborough have to play with.
Don’t construe my opinion to mean I am knocking Brees’, far from that, he still ranks very high on my list and is a legit 1st round HOF no questions asked but don’t compare what he has now to the his peers (Brady & GOAT)

You realize this supposed GOAT is 43-43 outside Lambeau Field. Lol anyways no point arguing about a QB who is 5th-7th all-time at best

Pro Bowl is not a team record award. It's your individual performance and Aaron Rodgers is 21st in QBR. He's been bang average! As for Tom Brady he's 42 bro. He's supposed to have fallen off a cliff.

Anyways don't cry dry your eyes. Jones will make All Pro. But this is what happens when undeserving players make these awards one way or another it will affect the deserving ones. You can see guys like ZaDarius Smith also missed the pro Bowl and yet he deserved to be there

NBA All-Star voting is officially open. Here are my picks.

No Kawhi because fvck load management, other wise the west is a no brainer. The east is where it gets a bit more complicated especially at the backcourt. I love Kyrie but i cant be a hypocrite and put him in if i don't have kawhi in there. Kemba is also another honorable mention.

Kinda feel guilty leaving out the GOAT Alex Caruso.
