My Church "The Church of Christ" don't also celebrate Christmas.

Some years ago Deeper Life years never allowed their member to watch television or appear in one. The church said that television was evil. Today, Kumuyi talks to his member from his location through the television. Today every Deeper Life church has giant television through which they view Kumuyi.

Christmas" Is Not In The Bible
He has just decorated his sitting room with Christmas tree and Christmas light. His wife just returned from the market with two life chickens and some food items as she tries to offload them from the car. Somewhere inside the house, you could hear noise, the children are testing their new shoes and the dress daddy bought recently. Something of joy surrounds the house.
Then, from nowhere a tall slim man came into the house. His shoes appear to be crying of overuse. He is putting on a pair of old trousers with a shirt tucked into it in a way that brought out his flat stomach. He is carrying a hand bag and by his side is a lady who is both dark and fair at the same time depending on how you look at her.
"Do you know that Christmas is not in the bible and all what you call Christmas is a pagan thing?" the slim man said. He was telling the man in the house alongside his wife who just returned from the market.
"There is nothing like Christmas tree or Christmas light. Even 25th December is not the date Jesus was born." He continued.
"If God had intended that Christians should celebrate the birthday of Jesus, it would have been clearly stated in scriptures. All these wrong teachings came from C**. They are misleading you." He concluded.
The owner of the house looked at the slim man and the lady standing close to him and said "If C** can so mislead me and my family to be happy and excited this period, I am delighted to be misled. And if Christ is angry that I am celebrating the fact that he who is God could come into this world and take flesh to be like me, to show me that he is with me, regardless of whichever date I am celebrating it, then that christ must be a sadist and not the one I know. The word "Christmas" is not in the Bible, but the birth of Christ is in the Bible, what is the meaning of Christmas then? And since you don't have any other work you are doing apart from going house to house telling people not to celebrate Christmas, can you please help me let's go and kill the chicken my wife bought? At least, I am sure the bible said we should help one another. Abi

We worship on Sunday because it is the day our Lord Jesus Christ broke the bounds of death and resurrected. His resurrection is the reason we have power over all religions and can conquer sin nd the devil.

His resurrection is of more significance than hi birth

The fools were talking about pagan,demonic ..it was these people that help us spread good news..they gradually accepted Christ into their life,they are not like this modern day hypocrite..Make dem go sit-down..who get the right date..

Everything is wrong with it. Who chose that date as the date to celebrate the birth of Christ. What is their evidence or proof backing such a day. What is the relationship between Father Christmas and the celebration of the birth of Christ? If you don't know make enquiries.

Busy but does not mean they ignore Christmas. The believe system of others may not necessarily find root in the scripture. Christmas is not mentioned after a god but after Jesus even if it has a demonic root as being alleged by some. If any deity celebration now turn to Jesus celebration, I don't think it is wrong to celebrate the new development. I will declare the importance of Jesus in this season because He is the reason for the season.

that was not the story of worshiping on Sunday go and ask roman Catholic people that change it ! from beginning of the church was holding the service on Saturday so go and check the history roman Catholic twisted to Sunday.

Religion is a scam, a big form deciet, how come different denominations who claim to serve same God and read same Holy Book have diffrent beliefs...I give up on Religion but believe in God existence.

If a church doesn't celebrate Christmas, does it make it better than others? I know one proud church called "Church of Christ". They make Christianity very boring by focusing on the mentality that other churches are not from God except theirs. Whereas, their lifestyles does not portray a life of a good christian.

Of a truth, God exists but churches are competing against one another. Little wonder why pastors will tell you their churches are the final bustop. What a world we live in.

They should all join the Muslim then.
