If Christmas was truly about Jesus, how come we have pagan stuff like Christmas trees, or magical characters like Santa Claus (as the official face of Christmas). Christianizing it (from birthday of the Sun god to that of the son of God) is about the same as when those Israelites made a golden calf and then declared that they would celebrate a festival to God (Yahweh/Jehovah). God was not deceived by the naming.
